I was going to post this in that breastfeeding sub but after parrousing all the pictures of smiling moms looking all happy with babies latched on their tits, I thought maybe I would be in better company here.
Just as the title says: New baby is 2 weeks old. I hate breastfeeding. I do it because it's free baby nourishment and I love my baby, but I hate that I can't be without the baby for longer than 2 hours without being the only one who can calm her down or put her to sleep. I hate waking up every 2-3 hours to feed the baby. I'm exhausted and therefore very short tempered and emotional. It's making me aggravated and un- fun to be around for my husband and 22 month old. I am a full time working mom with a SO who also works, and we are on a vegetarian diet with a 19 month old at home and another one on the way. I am looking for a vegetarian cook book with tasty but easy (emphasis on "easy") recipes that can be prepared in an hour or less (including prep) without any crazy obscure or expensive ingredients. When we get home from work I have about a half hour-45 minute buffer before kiddo starts getting hungry and fussy, so minimal prep is also helpful. I am a mediocre cook and my husband tries but is a terrible cook. For now we suffice with the old starch(rice/sweet potato mostly)/veg(usually frozen or steamed)/protein (beans/tofu dog/chickpea
