Hello, just a quick question I can't find a clear answer for anywhere.

When I check Profex, the first page says "usted no tiene solicitudes en este trámite" and nothing else. When I click "acceso a trámite"it takes me to the homepage that says (basically) "use microsoft edge or google chrome. If you're already using one of those, access your profile." There's no avaiilable applications or anything. I already have my profile filled out and documents uploaded (as far as I know I'm not missing anything).

So, when the application opens for the NALCAP 2026-27 year, the application will appear on one of those pages, right? I won't need to go hunting for it in Profex?

That's pretty much it, but

My Spanish is bad, but I can say some things very basically. Whenever I speak to a native speaker though, they almost always go “huh? What did you say?”

I even had someone say “what?” when I ordered food, he spoke in English and asked if I wanted some sauces, I said “Que salsas tienes?” He said “huh?” I repeated in English, he said “red and green,” I go” sí, los dos!” He goes “what?” “Yes, both. Thanks.” So annoying!

I think it’s a combination of my Spanish being very basic, very literally-translated-like, but also how I speak maybe. My pronunciation is okay for individual words but I don’t really have the cadence or accent down when speaking in sentences. I don’t understand for such basi

You know when someone is telling a story and they say something like “so I was sitting next to this little old Asian lady at the bus stop when some crazy dude came up, dropped to his knees and tried to pull her flip flops off her damn feet!”

Some people say it’s irrelevant and even kinda racist to mention someone’s race when telling a story, but I strongly disagree. It’s part of painting a picture, just like saying she’s a “little old lady.” None of those descriptors are really necessary, but they all add to the absurdity of the story.

The best rationale I hear people use for it being racist is that people don’t say “so I saw this white guy…” But, people totally do when they aren’t whi

90% of hardcore seems like just anger larping for middle aged creeps who like to beat on kids at house shows. So what are some good hardcore bands who make actually good music? Not just overly-distorted downstrums and generic “boom boom bap bap” drum beats over incoherent, unimaginative, growly vocals.

Convince me there’s more to this genre than whatever “Blood Lycanthrope” generic ass music I usually see. I like loud music, I like fast music, I like angry music, but I like clever lyrics and a good groove too. So gimme some groovy hardcore people. Or don’t whatever idgaf really I’m just bored rn
