Hello! So I recently got an e-kit and I need to upgrade my pedal from the basic Yamaha chicken wire pedal. I have a pearl eliminator redline on my acoustic and love it but I'm considering getting either that or the dw-5000. The redline also comes with a nice bag for close to the same price as the dw 5000 when on sale.
Id like a higher end pedal so may just have to shell out the mid tier price.
There's also the Pearl P1032R Eliminator Solo Red Double Bass Drum Pedal for about the same price as both of those. I've never gotten into double bass so considering this route as well. I don't have the funds to.spend $500.on a double bass that I may or may not get into but I'm thinking the elimina
I know Julia tells us to not go back and read our morning pages in the beginning but I was wondering if anyone has gone back and read them? Is there a certain point where our inner artist child is safe enough to do so? I was tempted this morning but did not do it, haha. I'm scared to because I've read past Facebook memories of posts I wrote and thought, "ew that was so gross and emo..etc".
Started week 6 yesterday and got laid off from my job. What kind of messed up "synchronocity" is this?! Haha but seriously finding it quite ironic, not sure how to look at it honestly. Trying to lean into trusting God. It was really difficult to do my morning pages but I came back to the artists prayer and the basic principles and wrote them out. That helped a bit. Just finding it hard to get any motivation, I'm.supposed to do my artists date today and lately I've been going for a long walk in an unknown area, park, or woods. That might help to clear my mind. Thanks for listening!
So I'm doing the morning pages on the journal bundle that came with the book and there's NO way I can get these done in 30 minutes, even if I'm just non stop going as fast as possible. These pages ARE pretty big and it's usually taking me at least 50 minutes-to.an hour to complete them. Was definitely making it hard to finish before work but now im off for the summer but also have a 2 year old. Anyone else finding it hard to complete in time without getting anxious about it or trying to rush?
