Hi all,

I’m wondering if others have had success in being granted full time telework as a reasonable accommodation?

I am “basically in remission” according to my doctor and feel good most days. However, after my resection, urgency can be a problem and some days are bad no matter what.

My employer has recently forced us back in office 4 days a week from 2, from 0 two years ago.

I occasionally do field work, which I love and don’t want to give up. This amounts to maybe 4 or 5 weeks in a year.

Being remote would allow me to manage symptoms on my terms, especially if and when I flare. I’m trying to avoid a “fitness for duty” investigation, which I would pass, but has been hinted at

Lately, there has been an increase in AI submitted content here in r/CAStateWorkers . We have received feedback and are rolling out a new rule for the sub. This is a similar stance and policy to many other subs on Reddit. Posting AI Generated content, including LLMs, will be considered spam and subject to removal. But it's relevant
Even though it may be relevant, it's not coming from you. It's technically coming from a collective of other people. You are not sharing YOUR thoughts even though you may agree with the generated content. r/CAStateWo

Hi all,

As we're swimming in RTO related posts and comments, we've noticed a trend of very low effort posts on the topic. These posts have been removed in the past, but it's clear that an announcement needs to be made.

Please make sure RTO discussions have some substance. Posts about microwaving fish come July 1 don't help the cause.

Thanks
- Mod Team
