I think there are several good reasons why Musk is upset.
The background: After learning about the 12 boys trapped in the Tham Luang cave in Thailand.^[1], Elon Musk designed a miniature submarine, in the hopes that it could be used to rescue them.
Subsequently (and long before Musk had made any objectionable comments), the diving team said his submarine was no use in their particular circumstances, and British caving expert Vern Unsworth suggested that not only was Musk's submarine useless, but that he could stick it up his ass; and that the only reason that Musk turned up in Thailand anyway was as a PR stunt.[^[2]](https://www.indep
There's no doubt that r/psvr is one of the coolest and friendliest subreddits around, but I think that, in the name of coolness and friendliness, we're starting to let submission title quality slip, rather than gently insisting that people make some effort to describe what they're posting.
It's getting to the point of being Clickbait, where people are intentionally leaving out the point of their post from the title to force users to click the post just to see the full title. As a result of having to click a lot of posts just to see the title, it takes twice as long as it should to browse through the posts.
Some examples of post titles compared with what they actually mean:

I know nothing about bicycles. I'm looking for the Toyota/Nissan of bicycles, not the Porsche/Ferrari of bicycles. So those that are in the mid-price range (whatever range that is).
I checked the noobs thread, and all I could find was that that tentatively, it seems that Giant are a good brand. Is that correct? Are there any other good ones?
Now firmware 4.5 is out, I'm curious to see how many of the features have been implemented.
Firstly, I think Nintendo got a lot of things right:
- Pretty good non-confusing name (unlike "Wii U").
- Standard USB charging port: no need to carry a special charging cable.
- MicroSD card slot: No overpriced Vita-style memory cards.
- Touchscreen: Great for strategy/MOBA games and web-browsing.
- It's a portable console that can easily be played on the big screen!
- Detachable semi-controllers for portable two-player gaming.
However, there are a few weaknesses, and some decisions that seem like mis-steps to me:
- No SIM card slot for mobile internet and communication.
- ~3.5 hour battery life.
- Very few games at launch.
- Fairly expensive base unit, and hugely expensive accessories.

reddit.com/r/sex/comments/5lvm2e/what_sexual_...I have a procedure that takes polar coordinates as its parameters, consisting of distance and a pair of angles, and converts them to cartesian coordinates.
Since the procedure does a bunch of trigonometry, I don't want to run it three times to get each of "x", "y", and "z", because that'd be kinda wasteful, and slow the framerate down.
The best solution I can think of is to create three variables ("converted_x", "converted_y", and "converted_z") just for this procedure, and have the procedure return nothing. But that seems kinda hacky and messy: surely there's a more proper way?
