Going to do a 6 day 7 night ride from Telluride to Moab through the San Juan Mountains. Anyone on here done this ride or one like it and have any pointers/advice on training, preparation, or gear?

I live in a pretty middle class neighborhood. A kid who lives a few houses over is a terror and I don't know what to do about it. He's about 13 years old. On a number of occasions, I've seen him scream at some of the other younger girls on the street and on one occasion punch and push down one of the boys on the street. I have heard about other occasions where he has hit both boys and girls. He tends to be around by himself and Will often walk around with a stick, smacking trees and other objects. My dog came home yesterday limping with a welt on his side being sore to the touch. I have no proof it was this kid, but I suspect it was. I don't have kids, but I know some of the parents on the s
