I just had an idea come to me recently after reading about someone in this sub having the skills from this game speak to them in their mind, and it got me thinking about if it would be possible to cause this to happen in a person's mind. I want to see if it would *feel* real, like the skills/traits from Disco Elysium were part of you and spoke to you similarly to how they speak to harry. As such I have come up with a method (in my head) to go about achieving this.

The method is as follows:

1. Take some shrooms and wait for the trip's onset

2. Open Disco Elysium and read all the skills and their info pages (really *internalize* them)

*3. As the trip progresses try to

This may become a bit of a slightly incoherent rant so I apologize in advance.

If anything is unclear, I can clarify in the comments

For the majority of my life I've been very ambitious and studious; My grades were always pretty good, I was typically involved in some sort of extracurricular, and if I wasn't I was still working towards something that interested me. This changed in my junior year of high school. For whatever reason that I just stopped doing my best and just kind of coasted along doing the bare minimum for what I would consider good. Don't get me wrong, I still had (and have) ambition in my life (for instance, I got my pilot's license a few months before graduating, which was

Hey, so Im a private pilot with about 120 hours, mostly with a CFI, trying to build my solo time. I just canceled a flight due to winds being 11-21kts. The max I've ever flown in constant speed wind was 20kts and in gusts only 13-17kts and that was a while ago. I just wasn't feeling it today. Would I have probably been fine and overreacted?

Why you should read ARC LIGHT

(un)qualified opinion 🎓

In order to cope with the constant stream of bullshit happening in my nation recently, I'm going to write a "detailed" (not really) review of the military techno- thriller Arc Light. Hopefully without spoiling much.

Summary(ish): At the bottom

Before I begin, I would like to preface everything I'm about to say with the fact that at the time I'm writing this, it's kinda late where I am, I have consumed a non-insiginficant amount of alcohol, and I'm typing this on my phone because my computer is having issues right now

Also this is the best military techno-thriller ever, yes better than Red Storm Rising, bite me

I "designed" this beautiful piece of hardware out of pure boredom earlier today, felt like it belongs here. Sorry if it's hard to read but I'm too lazy to remake it digitally. Just zoom in or something i guess.

I got the idea from this post in worldbuilding: https://www.reddit.com/r/worldbuilding/comments/1bgtusa/manportable_groundtoorbit/ and this paper posted in the com
