Fooshbeard

Just built a planck from the Massdrop Redrop and after fooling around with the default settings for a while decided to flash a different layout using kbfirmware.com since I'm not well versed in QMK. Everything's perfect now in terms of usability.
Problem is, it disabled the music mode and I see no way to force kbfirmware to assign MU_ON and MU_OFF.
Using kbfirmware is kinda cheating, but would knuckling down to learn QMK properly and do makefiles be my only option to renew fun beepboop mode?

Anyone have both that can tell me how similar they are, like given matching row heights could you blend a Maxkey and a Signature Plastics set without it looking awkward?
With the groupbuy for SA Miami dead I have a dream of using Dancer alphas with Maxkey Pink on White mods to achieve my high profile Miami fix.
With white legends on both I guess it could be called Miami Dawn?
