I've been experimenting with the asset editor and created a mod that transfers all the low density Southwest commercial zoning to the North American zoning district. This allows SW buildings to grow in NA zoned areas, which increases the building variety quite a bit without requiring any extra effort. Looking for a few people to try it out to make sure it works before I move the mod to Public and put more effort into the next one. If you could take a quick look and just let me know if it works or not, would be appreciated. Thx

Well....the $1,500 covered myself, my wife (CP), and an additional relative that doesn't have a credit card or status. And the trip actually is going to 3 different cities over a 10 day period, including two cross country flights and one coastal flight.

And it was actually 105,000 points, not $1,500 so fully refundable. I also got to select 3 adjacent Extra Legroom seats for all 6 legs at time of booking. And we all get one free checked bag and priority boarding.

No complaints from this frequent flyer.

I've been playing around with Wan 2.2 using pinokio (haven't graduated yet to comfyui) to animate old family photos from the 1940-1980s. The results with Wan 2.2 are amazing, however the faces change just enough to where the people in the video output don't look like themselves, which ruins the effect.

Is there a way to correct for this issue, or is that just a limitation of the technology at the moment?

Below are the official SW websites that provide all the details regarding upcoming changes. Figure I'm probably not the only one that has to keep going back to find these to look something up.

Credit Card Benefits (click on Consumer or Business Buttons)

Rapid Rewards Consumer Credit Cards | Southwest Airlines

Cardmember Benefits | Southwest Airlines

Fare and A-List Tier Benefits (scroll down and look for the table, then click on Fare Benefits or Tier Benefits. Also includes details on Boarding Groups.)

I'm thinking of pre-purchasing some points while they are on sale. I know historically it's not been worth it to purchase points, but maybe now it is worth it to avoid flight credits that expire. For example, I just checked LAX-MCO at random.

Purchase Tickets: $159/10,000 pts for Basic or $199/13,000 pts for WGA+

Purchase Points: $165/11,000 pts for Basic or $195/13,000 points for WGA+

It's actually a bit cheaper if I purchase the points, plus bonus that if I cancel flight, the points are returned with no expiration.

The only downside I see is I'm basically investing cash in points that will lose value over time so probably don't want to hold on to them for more than 2 or 3 years.

I was rear ended. Insurance company for the person that hit me agrees it was 100% fault of their insured.

Their insurance company initially estimated damage at $4,000. Body shop estimated damage at $8,000, at which point their insurance company decided to total the vehicle. Similar cars sell at CarMax for about $16,000-$18,000, private party on Facebook about $12,000-$14,000.

Their insurance company has now given me 2 choices.

  1. Total the vehicle and pay me $14,000. They keep the vehicle.

  2. I get to keep the vehicle (with salvage title) and they would pay me $10,000.

Why would the insurance company offer to pay me $10,000 vs paying the body shop $8,000? Only thing I can think of

Just got off the Encore (Starlink) and thought I'd share some things I learned the hard way. Not sure if this applies to other ships and other people might have had different experiences. Also, there were some things that worked early in the cruise, but did not work on the later days, even though the help desk said everything was working just fine.

I started with the Voyage plan, but ended up upgrading to Streaming plan so I had access to both. Since my Voyage plan was included in my booking, I had to pay $39.99/day to upgrade to Streaming. If I had known this I would have pushed harder to have the Streaming plan included in my original booking. I was eventually able to get them to ref
