Hi everyone! I'm an incoming OMS-II and I'm trying to figure out the most efficient way to integrate board prep throughout the year.

During OMS-I, I relied almost entirely on in-house lectures and did very little board-specific studying. It worked well for my exams, but I know that approach probably isn't sustainable for OMS-II.

I'm currently planning to take COMLEX only (not Step), so my goal is to build a study plan geared specifically toward COMLEX.

Our school gives us a dedicated study period from February through the end of March, and we have to score 450+ on a COMSAE by the end of February before we're allowed to sit for COMLEX.

I've heard from a few upperclassmen that they watched

Hi all! I hope you’re doing well. I’m moving to South Jersey this summer for school in the Voorhees area and am currently looking at apartments. Ideally, I’m looking for a one-bedroom within a reasonable price range. These are the ones I’ve come across so far:

  • The Village at Voorhees (~$1640)
  • Echelon Glen ($1750)
  • Foster Square ($1643)

If you’ve lived in or know anything about these apartments, I’d really appreciate any insight! What do you like/dislike about them? How is the management and maintenance team? Are the areas around them safe? Any issues with pests, noise, or outdated units?

If you have other recommendations in the Voorhees area, I’d love to hear them as wel

I recently got accepted to RVSOM which I’m super grateful for. But it turns out I do not meet their 6 credit behavioral science prerequisite. I do have 9 credits of research on my transcript which is all psych related, it’s a big part of my application (2 pubs, few posters). I emailed admissions back in early November basically describing my research and asking if it could fulfill the requirement but got no response. I then sent a follow up email a few weeks ago which I also have not received a response to yet. I know they must be slammed this time of year but does anyone know a better way to get in contact with admissions, should I just try calling them? Should I be reaching out to a partic

I thought that most med school prereqs include 2 semesters of orgo lab, but it seems like Rutgers only offers one (311 and other labs that are equivalent to 311, other than 310 which is only open to chem majors) Do any premeds know if orgo 311 is enough to fulfill orgo lab requirements for med school applications?

Someone in my housing group found an off-campus apartment and won't be staying on campus next school year. Since it's past the housing application deadline, should the rest of the group try to get on the housing waitlist, or is it possible to drop a person from your housing group and select a room without them?
