In this America's Test Kitchen video, Lan Lam mentions an ingredient that she says is often used in meatloaf recipes to prevent myosin from toughening the loaf. According to her pronunciaion and their official (not auto-transcribed) subtitles, this ingredient is called "aponad" and pronounced /ˈeɪpəˌnɔd/ ("ay-puh-nod"), but I can't find anything about it on Google. My only guess is that she meant to say "épinard," the French word for Spinach, but that can't be it, can it?

I have a friend who is trying to use Zoom on her iPad, but whenever she clicks on a meeting invitation link, it just opens the app at the "join or start a meeting" page. On my Android phone, the link takes me directly into the meeting and asks me to type in a display name.

Is there something wrong with her iPad, or does the iPad Zoom app not accept invitation links for some reason?

Searching for some of the things missing/broken from the "NEW" community modding guide linked in the sidebar brought me to another post on this same subreddit from two years ago with a user saying that it actually hasn't been updated in a long time. That user suggested using the Viva New Vegas guide instead. Is that the currently recommended guide to use?

I'm pretty sure they keep non-severed staff to a minimum in order to prevent information leaks, but at least we know that Cobel, Milchick and Graner have access to the innies.

In episode seven, they discover that >!the overtime contingency!< requires two people, but Milchick admitted that he didn't tell Cobel, so that leaves Milchick >!at Dylan's house!< and Graner >!in the security room!<, but who was the other person with Graner if it wasn't Cobel?

What if they could set up an elevator that just takes you to another office and convince both versions of you that you're the innie and the other one is the outie? They could have you working around the clock without even realising it. Do you think Lumon would attempt it with the children they supposedly want to sever? I'm not sure how they would deal with the need for sleep, though.

I just noticed that, starting 10 hours ago, my Zephyrus G14 has repeatedly attempted to download a zip file that Windows Security detects as containing "Trojan:Script/Wacatac.b!ml" -- and it appears to have been downloaded by ASUS Live Update, given that it was saved to "C:\Program Files (x86)\ASUS\Update\Download\..."It has already tried to download the file at least 16 times.

Is it similar to this attack on ASUS Live Update from three years ago? What should I do at this point? Has anyone else been affected?

Here is a screenshot of my Windows Security protection history. All of the reports pertain to the same virus:

Long story short, I wanted 10% vinegar for an experiment and they sent me pure glacial acetic acid. I would like to safely dilute it down to at least a less-dangerous concentration. From looking at safety information, it seems like I should be using a fume hood and full protective gear with sodium carbonate and a dry chemical fire extinguisher in case anything goes awry; but then when I Google how to safely dilute it, I see people just freehand pouring it into water on a stovetop under a kitchen fan, without even wearing gloves.

Is there perhaps a middle ground of reasonable safety measures? Exactly how cautious should I be with this stuff?

I recently ordered this model (590W, 6QT, bowl lift) as a Christmas present because I read here that when unsure what Kitchenaid model to get, it's best to get the one with the best price-to-wattage ratio, and I believe I got a good deal on it. Now that it has arrived, I realize that it is bigger than I imagined, and I worry that it may not work as well for smaller batches. We have a small tabletop oven (36L / 1.3ft³ capacity), so we tend not to prepare large amounts of dough at once. Will there be any difficulty using this mixer with smaller batches

This is my second attempt at growing mung beans in my apartment. Both times, the seeds sprout easily enough, rapidly grow up to 20-30 cm within a few days, and then just stay like that. The first batch lasted for 3-4 weeks until the seed leaves shriveled up and the whole plant died. I assumed the first time they failed because I used a stiff, clay-rich soil and watered too frequently, so I switched to a loose fertilized soil from a local shop and changed the watering schedule as well. However, the situation seems to be playing out just as it did before. Here are the plants at 15 days:

I got a quest to build a monster barn, and I'd also like to get something to cook with. I thought it should be in Eliza's "development" menu, but that just lets me expand the size of my backpack and storage box.

I guess I must have missed the instructions for how to build things. Could anyone help me?
