Does anyone have any experience with this they can share? I've used Greenland Wax from Fjällräven in the past, which is apparently just parrafin wax and beeswax. I have both of those in spades, so I figure I'll just save myself some money and get a little project in.

My main question is about the ratio. I've read that it's somewhere around a 9:1 ratio of parrafin to beeswax, but what I'm curious about is how adding more or less of each would affect the outcome. Can anyone tell me what each wax actually does to the mixture, or if the above ratio is wrong?

Honestly I'm open to any input, advice, or experience on the topic y'all might have. Thanks in advance.

Alright, so I have a few Moraknivs and with my area currently covered in snow and ice, a little bit of free time and a lot of boredom on my hands. I'm interested in adding some jimping to the back of my knives, partly because I think it will come in handy, but admittedly, mostly because I just enjoy making things uniquely mine.

Anyway, I've done some research and what I've settled on is using a checkered file, but should I be worried about stress risers when doing this? I can't seem to find any consistent, thorough answers to this. Or is there a better technique I should use? Or, should I just abandon this project entirely?

Open to whatever advice more experienced people can give me. Tha

I'm curious if anyone has had any experience waxing Duracanvas from Helikon Tex, specifically the Pilgrim Anorak and Pants. I've seen where fabric with elastane shouldn't be heated, but the website clearly says if can be impregnated with wax. Apparently both have a low percentage of elastane in them. However, the website also says it can be ironed on low, which I assume is meant for the waxing?

I have a heat gun I can run at 140F, which I know will melt Fjallraven Greenland Wax, but I obviously don't want to damage the material. So if anyone could give me advice, alternatives, or firsthand experience that would be fantastic. Thanks in advance.

(And yes, I know I'm overthinking. It's kind

I don't need specifics on the amount or anything, but I'm just curious if GS still runs any trade promotions for putting a PS4 Pro and/or and Xbox One X towards an Xbox Series X.

Like have they done any recently, and should I try and keep an eye out for promotions of is that a waste of time?

Thanks, and godspeed to all y'all still whiteknuckling it behind the counters.
