Hi Reddit,
I need help deciding what car should I buy. I am looking for a car to use very minimally (7-9k miles) for the coming 2 years. I plan on buying a better car after 2 years when not only is insurance going to be cheaper for me but also I will be using it a lot more making it a better bang for the buck. Imagine me buying my $40k car brand new (I have that now but don't think its a good idea to buy a car that expensive without collision. And right now paying for insurance with anything above liability is too expensive for me) and putting on it just 7k miles annually during the years that it will depreciate the fastest.
I am looking at 2012 Mercedes C300, this fits my criteria of no
Hi Reddit, I need to use a car for about 2 months or so, and I was wondering what is the cheapest way to do that. Please feel free to suggest other ideas besides the one I am thinking of. I was thinking of buying a car (a used one) and reselling it for a similar price (dealership, or Craigslist) if not for the same price. Do you think it is possible to do this? provided I will be using it for 2 months (the car won't much older after I'm done using it) and I am going to be putting roughly 2k of miles on it. Given other expenses (insurance, gas, etc.) compared to my budget, I would like the difference between the price and the resale value after 2 months (the net loss) to be under $300 if poss

For block ads that is.
Today as I was locking my bike to the bike rack, I saw another biker approaching the bike rack at a high speed. Instead of using his brakes to slow down he was using his shoes to slow down. It looked scary at first because it looked like he was going to crash into the rack. When he finally stopped, we had this exchange:
Me: "Do you not have brakes, or something?"
Him: "No, and I haven't used brakes in months now"
Me: "Why? Did they ... break?" followed by this gesture (☞゚ヮ゚)☞
He didn't even look at me and just walked away.
Now that Safari on iOS can have extensions like an AdBlocker, is there an extension that will block sites from being accessed, like WasteNoTime does on the Mac?
With restrictions on the iPhone, you can only whitelist websites and all other websites will be blocked, but not the other way around. Or you can disable Safari entirely, something I would prefer not having to do.
I currently have WasteNoTime on my Macs, and it works in preventing from being distracted, however, sometimes i find myself using Safari on my iPhone and I'd like to block that as well.
You know how cars still move very slowly even if you are not pushing the gas pedal? so long as you are not braking, it will continue to move. I recently discovered what ghost riding is, and this is what intrigued the question.
Maybe it is just me being paranoid but do you think wireless keyboards and mice are a security venerability? Should I switch to wired?
The title pretty much sums it up, I want to know who out there is using Ghostery to prevent ad agencies from tracking you and such.
