I'm currently watching the Korean show Light Shop (Jomyeonggage) (not scary at all IMO, but interesting enough) and is wondering if there are any other horror shows with a supernatural theme from Korea, Japan, China, or SE Asia worth checking out? English subtitles available is a must.

I'm looking for any show where the main character(s) are thieves/robbers. I like it when there is stealth, planning and cunning involved.
I've already seen:
- La Casa de Papel / Money Heist
- Animal Kingdom
- Mr Robot
- The Great Train Robbery
- Peaky Blinders
- Banshee
- Revenge (Stopped watching.)
- Black Bird
- Prison Break
- Better Call Saul
- Tusenbröder (Swedish)
I'm looking for movies and tv shows where there are "doorways" made from a permanent or semi-permanent fixture linking specific points in time. It can be anything from simple rooms/doors/caves/mysterious objects. For example:
Movies:
- Frequency (tv show too)
- Palm Springs (kind of)
- The Final Countdown (Mysterious time portal out on the sea. I can't remember if it was a fixed one though.)
TV Shows:
- 11.22.63 (The room that leads to the 60s and the present.)
- Outlander
- Dark
- Outer Range
- Mirror, Mirror
I'd prefer if the shows have the status Ended or ongoing on trakt.tv
I've seen:
- Dark (German. The best non-English sci-fi I've seen so far.)
Started watching but didn't enjoy:
- Äkta Människor / Real Humans (Swedish)
- Kenny Starfighter (Swedish sci-fi comedy for a younger audience. Not really my thing.)
I primarily look for shows and movies where the other world(s) is a big part of the plot, preferably without time travel causes. Any anthology series with single episodes covering this topic is also welcome.
I've seen (Shows):
- The Man in The High Castle (2015)
- Fringe (2008)
- Constellation (2024)
- Counterpart (2017)
- Sliders (1995)
Movies:
- Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022)
- The One (2001)
- Silent Hill (2006) (More of a liminal space parallel world full of horrors. 2nd movie was terrible.)
- Parallel (2018)
- Probably most of the Marvel movies covering this topic. But I'm super tired of the Marvel-verse.
I'm trying to build libadwaita with Github Actions, but I run into so many missing dependencies, or dependencies that requires a newer version. Does anyone have a working yml file?
This is my current action:
name: Fetch libadwaita

workflow_dispatch:
jobs:
build:
runs-on: ubuntu-latest
steps:
- name: Install dependencies
run: |
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install -y shaderc libvala-dev gobject-introspection sassc libgtk-4-dev cmake ninja-build valac gettext autogen autoconf libtool pkg-config
sudo pip3 install meson
- name: Checkout glib
uses: actions/checkout@v3
Something similar to the movie Threads perhaps? It would be interesting to see a society before the sirens, then during the event, and then after.
I'm aware of the show Jericho which I've seen. But that wasn't really about a MAD between nations, and there were no eerie sirens. :(
I'm not interested in documentaries.
I'm not looking for entire shows, just single episodes from any anthology like for example: Black Mirror, Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits, etc.
Civilization is probably a game that many thinks of as game with "infinite" replayability. So I'm looking for games with any of the following:
- Each play trough can be different.
- The game have problem solving that allows the player to think creatively.
- Exploration. (I like random generated maps if the randomization is good, but it can be handcrafted maps as well.)
- Character creation with stats/classes that the player can choose. (FFT and Tactics Ogre for example.)
- Building towns, bases, anything.
- Non-linear storytelling.
I'm not looking for any specific genre. I do like RPGs and strategy games the most though. I've already played the most mainstream games if y
I'm specifically wondering if there is any good tool to see if any of the domains in my filter list is redirecting to a new domain.
But also give tips about other useful tools that you use.
I need something with an intriguing premise. Time travel, parallel universes, space travel, people stuck in a mysterious location, etc.
No shows that ends with a cliffhanger please.
Some that I've seen and enjoyed are:
- 11.22.63 (2016)
- The Lost Room (2006)
- Day Break (2006)
- Ascension (2014)
Something similar to Outer Range (TV series), The Final Countdown (1980), Frequency (2000).
Simply movies where the premise can spark curiosity or imagination, or make you think "what the heck is going on?" Preferably not comedies.
