This is a spoiler filled review. I've played all the previous Trails games (including Zero and Azure) so it is possible that some things I say will spoil plot points of those games as well. Though I think all spoilers from other games are vague enough to not mater.

Since I'm probably going to write a lot here, figure I should give my overall impressions first.

Overall Impressions:

The game is good overall, but probably a low point for my personal enjoyment of the series. Some of it is due to design choices, some of it is due to have played so many other games in the series and being used to the formula. But this game did not hook me as hard as some of the other Trails games. Even thou

This review is going to be full of spoilers, so you've been warned.

So I just finished Trails to Azure after playing the series on and off for years now. And I have to say it mostly lives up to the hype, all things considered. There are a few things about it which mildly annoyed me, but most of those complaints are combat/pacing centric and are probably exacerbated by having played 5 of these games, considering the formula hasn't really been shaken up that much.

So I'll start off with my biggest praise for this game, which is the excellent, deep world building. It's what drew me into the series in the first place. I love how even the most insignifican NPCs slowly evolve over the course of

I called these sports "demonstrative sports" in a comment I made off the cuff, and now I'm curious if there is an official name for this category of sports.

Seems like there should be something to differentiate them from sports like Basketball and Soccer, where the result is determined by which team scores the most against the other. Or something like Bowling or Golf, where there is no (legal) way to influence an oponent's score, but the points are determined by objective measures rather than the opinion of a judge.

(EDIT: Of course as soon as I type this all out I think "Maybe I should search the webstore for a webcomic bookmark updater instead, since I have the same problem with those. Then I found this Comic Updater extension (which is also on firefox). So I'll be using that rather than reinventing the wheel. It seems to work pretty well.)

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but this is the biggest sub-reddit dedicated to web fiction that I'm aware of.

What I'm looking for is an app/extension that will allow me to save my place when I'm reading a story so that I can come back to it at a

Most baby animals are cuter than adult animals of the same species. This is an indisputable fact.

I'm looking for an example where the babies are generally ugly and they get cuter when they're adults.

edit: That awkward just born phase where they're still gooey looking aliens doesn't count. As long as there's a period between adulthood and birth where they're cuter than they are as adults they don't meet the requirements.

Is spacebattles.com down for everyone? Is this some kind of april fools thing, or just legitimate server issues?

I'm getting a 503 error.

Mods, stop me if this type of post isn't welcome here.

EDIT: Looks like it's back folks.

I've never actually called a girl a "chick" to her face because that would be weird. But sometimes when I'm trying to remember an actress or something I'll say "You know, the chick who played Black Widow in The Avengers".

I never mean anything derogatory by it, but it occurred to me that maybe other people don't take it the same way. So I thought I'd ask for opinions.
