I have a monitor. Samsung Odyssey G7. It is about 2 years old. And it have worked just fine for all this time (Except for the "lines" issue that is fairly common on this model but I can live with that).
In December I moved my PC from one room to another. I had just moved a few months before that. I plug everything in but the monitor just fades to black. My PC clearly still thinks it is on, so my desktop etc is still there. It isn't as dark as when the power is off, so there is at least some light.

After a few dies I show it to a friend, I power it up and it just works. Strange. But I'm happy that it wor

I just don't get it. I have read multiple posts, seen the video, but somehow that made it even more confusing. If I get a Claude key and I use that, what can I use it for and what can't I use?

I really like having a strong agent helping me write my code and giving me feedback etc. I don't really need completion anymore.

Sure, I could pay JetBrains directly for their AI assistant, but as I understand it, I will get way more use out of Claude if I pay them directly with the caveat that I'm "locked" to their services. I'm okay with that.

So... How does this actually work? Is there an overview somewhere?

This may be very obvious, but I just can't figure out how to get t3 equipment. I have done quite a few contracts in Mannshire and Ostbrook (moving between then). I'm not at home, so I can't see my reputation. I'm level 11.

It feels like I should progress to somewhere. t2 contracts are getting quite easy at this point. I think that a quest is telling me to go to The Rotten Willow Tavern now. But before I go to a new place, I'd like to get some t3 gear. Or at least see a merchant selling some so I can see the price and stats. But I can't find anyone selling any. I just went to Brynn to check, but nobody is selling anything useful. The alchemist person is only selling t2 gear. A youtube video

I am playing a bit of warhammer 2. Currently playing Empire with Franz. How different is a game with another Lord? If I start as Gelt it seems like the same game, except for a different starting location and lord. Is anything else different? What if I buy a DLC like the one with Volkmar or Markus? Will they be any different? Other than what I assume is a new location and Lord.

And what if I get warhammer 3? Does that change any setup for the game other than giving me access to more factions?

II guess what I'm really asking is how "worth" is a DLC to get to a faction? How much new content will it provide? I don't mind spending money on a game I enjoy, but I want to spend it in a good way.

I have a handler. I want them to handle my setup. They are picking up wares from the stockpile, picking up product from a shelve, and they are packaging at the station. But as soon as it runs out of jars, they don't pick new ones up, even though they have the route from shelve to station. They even stocked the shelve so I know there is access. So why is this happening? There is plenty of cash in the locker and everything else works fine. Saving and loading didn't fix it.

A few months ago, I posted a recap of my first session of BitD. You can read it here if you want, although it isn't very relevant for this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/bladesinthedark/comments/1idq2k8/bitd_just_finished_my_first_game_would_appreciate/ (I didn't reply to one of the commenters, but Reddit wouldn't allow me to. I'm very sorry about that!)

We played the second session about a month ago, and will be playing a new session soon. So I have a few questions from that one and into the next.

  1. A player (Leech) wants a set of fine lockpicks. I suggested a long term

Hi

I just GM’ed my first session of BitD. We had a blast, but I had a few issues where I didn’t know how to handle the situation. So this is a short writeup of what happened. I'd like to share the game, but also feel free to call me out on any call I made. I have GM'ed for quite some time, but the feeling of BitD is quite different.

The players decided to play as shadows. They were sent to a basement to break into a safe. I told them they could keep 4 coin from it, player C haggled for 6. I said it would be risky/standard, They succeeded, so they were allowed to keep the money. Would it have been fair to go for limited instead, where a success would result in being allowed to keep 5?

I'm getting burned out of commander. I have a few decks I'm playing, but I haven't put a new deck together for a few years. I still play with my regular group, they are nice people. We are 4 in total and we have a lot of fun. It just feels too "solved".

Then one day I see a post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/magicTCG/comments/1bbb54w/the_best_format_that_youre_not_playing_is_30/

My old passion came back. I started thinking about magic. I even started looking up decks and brewing a bit. I brought the idea to the group, but they weren't interested. Not because they didn't want to play

I'm looking for a PC game where the primary focus is on some kind of combat (prefer multiple units/characters/whatever), with base/camp/castle building. Bonus points for medieval/fantasy. Think something like:

Kenshi, but less lethal in early game.

Battle Brothers with a base.

Rimworld but with more focus on the combat and exploration.

I'm really enjoying this league. I'm also enjoying archmage. This is the first time I have farmed multiple divines and put in a character, so I'm a little unsure how to progress. I have about 15d to invest, maybe a little more. This is my current PoB: https://pobb.in/MDYlJhYbxMLW

A quick note about it: Mana flask is from when I didn't have Foible. I probably want onslaught flask instead? My body armor isn't great. I'm thinking lightning coil long term, so I have been skimping on it.

Tonight I plan on killing the forgotten, then trying uber elder. Assuming I can do it, I'm at 4/4 voidstones (first time ever) and 131 points on the atlas tree, only missing the

NRP handouts

Resources/Tools

EDIT: I'm stupid and wrote this wihout thinking. I mean NPC. NRP is not a thing...

I'm currently running a campaign as a GM. One of my players are taking a few notes on each NPC, and expanding them as time goes.

I'm thinking about helping this a little bit. I'd like to create a physical handout for each NPC only containing the picture of the NPC, the name (or the name they are given) along with blank likes for the players to take notes on. I already have the pictures and the names, but I don't know any tools that can be used to create this. I'm guessing that I'm not the first one wanting to do this, so is there any templates out there that can be used?

I have payed RPGs since 2004 or something like that. I started with 3.5, now I mostly play Pathfidner 1E. Most of this time I'm the GM, and I enjoy it. But I have always made my own world with my own story. It is not that I have anything against using Scenarios or Adventure Paths, it was just something that I never really thought about.

But now I'm starting to wonder if I'm missing out on some great stories. Or maybe they can give me something to learn from so I can improve my own universes. I'd therefore like to try out some when the current campaign ends. I'm thinking Curse of the Crimson Throne, but I haven't settled on anything yet.

But here is my question: Where do I start? What do I

My friends and I just started playing Gloomhaven, and I really like it. I'm looking for something similar to play solo. I know that I could play Gloomhaven solo on PC, but I don't want that. I want to play that game as blind as possible.

So I'm looking for some kind of game with a lot of progression. Possibly an PRG. But the issue with most PRGs is that at some point you "have to" spend 2 hours in a city talking to people. I don't want that. I'm also not looking for the classic rogue lite game. I don't like the feeling of having to start over when I die. I installed Xcom again, but perma death doesn't really suit me. It did feel close, tho (also, I prefer Fantasy over sci-fy, although it is
