Hey all, I was hoping to get some feedback on this list. I’m pretty new to the game and I’ve never played Tyranids before.

My buddy who I’ll be playing against this week usually runs either Necrons or Thousand Sons.

Do you all have any thoughts, advice, or tips? I’m fortunate enough to have access to a lot of different models, including the recent Christmas box, so I do have other model options if there are better selections out there.

Thought I'd bounce this one off you guys.

I've been asked to appraise a parcel of land in a gated community. Bit of an odd neighborhood, the community is near a lake and includes a mix of traditionally built SFRs and manufactured homes.

The buyer has a house they're planning to build on the lot, and I've been asked to complete the appraisal Subject To construction. Normal stuff.

Here's the issue. There's no fence between the subject property and the neighboring lot. The neighbor has several large kennels, like 5-6 in their back yard. They keep several large dogs in those kennels, apparently all the time. When I went out to visit the property those dogs were barking at me loudly and consta

This is in north Texas, DFW area.

I have a young Lacey Oak in my back yard which I planted about a year ago. It’s currently about 8 ft tall.

The tree has been thriving this summer. With regular watering, and plenty of space it’s grown by about 1.5 feet over the past 2-3 months.

This afternoon I went out to find every leaf on the tree half shriveled up, and almost all the new shoots curled up and dead. The tree was covered in a clear, very sticky substance with no smell.

A lot of the plants around my tree were also covered in the sticky substance. But strangely, it didn’t look like it had come from either of my neighbors’ yards?

I sprayed the tree down thoroughly with water. That seems t

I’m a long-time painter and hobbyist who’s never actually played a full game of 40k. I’ve played some Kill Team, etc, but I have absolutely no idea what’s currently good/bad in the current ruleset.

Finally convinced my buddy to play a game with me. He’s bringing Necrons. For 500 points, what’s a good list I could bring that would be functional?

Here’s what I’ve got:

-1 cadre fireblade -1 ethereal on disk -1 commander in coldstar armor -strike team -breachers -pathfinders -3 stealth suits -7 crisis suits (weapons magnetized) -1 broadside with rail gun -1 devilish transport

Okay guys, after my post yesterday you sold me. I ordered the Starks vs. Lannisters starter set and it's in the mail.

Now I need to figure out where I'm actually gonna play this thing. Google says the board size for this game is 48" x 48". In the past I've bought screen printed mats on mousepad material for my setup, but the games I've played in the past take much up smaller playing areas (Kill Team & DnD, mostly).

Obviously if I ever go to a tournament the battle areas will be standardized. But how important is board size for a game between friends? Do I need to invest in a big sheet of plywood to go over my dining room table for this thing? Or is playing on a rectangular field with a nar

I have a friend I play regular games of KillTeam with, and we’re vaguely interested in branching out into other games. I was thinking about picking up the Starks vs. Lannisters Starter Set. Would that be a good place to get started?

I’m also concerned about investing a lot of time and money into this game right now. With the TV show now finished, and presumably no more books coming out, it seems like the opportunities to support the game will diminish quickly in the future.

For the people who’ve been playing this game for awhile, does it seem like the popularity of the game is declining? What does the future of the game look like? Are there any new faction releases expected in the future,

I have a Librarian model for the Space Hulk game. Specifically, it's this model.

I've painted all the terminators in classic red armor, as you would expect for Blood Angels.

However, I really don't want to paint the Librarian in blue armor. To me, that screams Ultramarines. I'd rather have the Librarian in colors that look a bit more Blood Angel-y, while still setting him apart from the rest of the terminator squad.

Right now, I'm leaning toward painting him up in gold, with plenty of red and silver trim. I've also considered painting him in black, as well as silver.

What do you guys think? I don't know much about space marine lore, and I'm not a Bloo
