Dxy dying, so silver could launch, but no, the bond yields decided to launch. At some point this will end
The dollar index dropped - silver launched. If the dxy recovers we are going back down.
Silver price still correlated to the demand for dollars smh
Increased inflation will lead to fears that the fed will increase interest rates. This will strengthen the dollar, and the bots will get rid of precious metals as they are pricing in the interest rise.
Thoughts?
Any news? Silver holding its ground somewhat, but if the rocket continues it’ll slide
Hi guys, a lot of price talk for option expiry. I just have a question. The most cited price is the next major delivery month (July), but on the investing app, and the cme website there is also a June price, that is hovering slightly lower. Is it this June price, with 380 traded contracts only today that matter? Or is it the front month?
Thanks
So please dampen your expectations 😬
Bond yield up, dollar flat, and silver...up? The expectations for the CPI numbers must be... poor😬
Yet, the silver price is still 26.9. Too early to tell if it will hold, but in the last weeks, that dxy recovery would constitute a bigger drop in price.
I stress though. To early to tell if it holds
I pump this message not because I don’t like positive price action. But there could be new apes coming so I thought I’d give a small info bite.
The silver price, looking away from manipulation is also somewhat correlated to the demand for dollars, quantified by the dollar index, dxy. The correlation is not 1:1, and the past weeks silver has managed to creep higher even on a rising dxy. Large dumps/peaks often correlate with large movements in the dxy.
Therefore, if the dxy recovers some of the gains today, the silver price will likely slide somewhat. Not because there isn’t demand silver, but because there is demand for dollars. This relationship helps wind up the spring for the silver pr
What happened the last time it spiked wildly? Exactly. It was bled down again. Hold your horses 😬
Seeing some posts waiting for the trading to open to see “the effect of the squeeze”. Part of the reason we are here is exactly the fact that there is a disconnect between the paper market and the physical market.
So whilst the raid definitely put pressure on the physical market, there is no guarantee that the paper market will respond upwards. Other factors are in play. The manipulation, inverse trading against the dollar, etc.
I have no expectations, and if it goes down, I look forward to a cheaper price the next time I have fiat to sell 😀
