Heyyy!

So basically my roommate and I were placed in rhoads even though we're both part of the honors college. I was wondering if anyone and their roommate would want to swap dorms with us whether it is to be closer to friends, save money, or etc?

Please lmk!!

Hey!! Im an incoming freshman at VCU. I have been working through the aleks modules to bypass chem 100 since 2pm.

So far, I have mastered 105 out of 108 topics. but the STUPID FREAKING "learn" button is GREYED OUT and the system is basically forcing me into a "review" loop. I completed all of my reviews and it is still not changing!!

So literally what should I do?? Because im at 97% mastery and only three topics away from completion and im literally stuck in a loop. Like did i really get a 4 in ap chem for NOTHING!?!? (2 years ago btw)

I JUST emailed professor polo and the chem department. what else should i do??

Heyy! Im an incoming freshman (from OOS). I got accepted into Health Sci on the premed track at UF and I lovelovelooove the campus (really felt like i belonged), but im so scared about the academics. So far, im top 15-20% in a school full of competitive students, and ive worked so hard to get where i am rn.

Can any health science majors/premeds tell me how their experience was as a gator? what was your freshman year like? is the grade deflation really as bad as they say?

Thank you smm. T minus 10 days til decision day (im gonna cry)

Hey!

I got admitted to both UF (out of state), VCU (in state), and GMU (in state) for pre-med. For UF I got in for health science, VCU I got in for pre-medical lab sciences, GMU I got in for neuroscience. I LOOOOVE the UF campus, absolutely DESPISE the VCU campus, and LOVE the GMU campus. VCU cost per year (tuition + dorms/everything else) is 31k for me because I got a half ride. UF cost per year is 46k because I got 4k as merit aid. GMU cost per year is like 29k because I got 3k as gift aid.

I am VCU honors, not honors for UF and GMU but am planning to apply to the program if I go. Im scared because VCU's housing application already opened a long time ago (like around 10-15 days ago) so I

Heyy! I got into UMD but I got in for the Spring sem. I looked through my letter and it said something about the Freshman Connection program. I was wondering if anyone here knows about that and could tell me a little bit more about what it is?

Also I got in for Letters and Sciences but I applied to Neuroscience. How hard is it transfer to Neuro? And if not, how hard is it transfer into Biological Sci or Chem??

Thanks guys!

Last year I did so so so good in hs choir. I'm an Alt 2 and I got 3rd place in my district like 5 months ago and went to all-state. But this year, everything turned upside down. My teacher said that it wasn't my best and that I could have done better. But I tried, I really did.

I dont know what to do. Maybe it was just the song? Or just the nerves? I probably got around 10th in district but I can only get 4th or above to go to all-state. It's my senior year so i rlly rlly want to go.

What should I do?

Hey guys!! Here's some backstory:

So I got a 32 on my last ACT (June) and I'm taking the ACT again this month (Sept). I did old versions of the test and have gotten 33s - 35s. BUT I realized a bit too late that the format changed this month, so I tried the practice tests on piqosity.

It's not looking good... I keep getting 25s and 24s. I normally never do THIS bad. I got 36 on reading on my June ACT, but I'm getting 23s-24s FOR READING on piqosity. I really don't know what to do...

Anyone who's ever taken the Enhanced ACT, is it really THAT different than the older versions of the tests? Also anyone who's ever used piqosity for the ACT, is it the same level or harder than the Enhance

Hey guys!

I'm taking the September 6th ACT. I was just incredibly confused about the new format and what colleges expect.

I am not taking the science section (because I got a relatively low score on it compared to my other sections). However, since I am planning to pursue a STEM major, should I have selected to take it?

Most of the colleges I am planning to apply to don't require scores anyway, but would they still look for a science score if it is not listed? I also heard that if I took the science section I would've gotten a STEM score... Would colleges look for this? Am I at a disadvantage since I am not taking the science section?

I hope someone can answer this soon so I can st

I wrote about this in another comment but was too lazy to rewrite it all over again so I copied that and am pasting it here:
I was thinking of talking about my pitted acne scars, but also connect it to Hindu mythology in a way. It's basically a story where the moon god was praised for its flawless beauty for a long time, but then it got cursed with craters by another god. Even though the curse was meant to dim its brightness and he mourned the loss of his perfection, the people still looked up at him in awe of his scars? So basically my scars are a reflection of my perseverance and even though it looked like a war-zone before maybe I could change my perspective of it and think of it as a m
