Building a ranch in the middle of nowhere for me and the wifey. We have a house being built, a new barn, and an old guest house on the property. There's also a dock going out into a huge (3 acre) pond.

My goal is to have a consistent WIFI signal seamlessly between all 3 structures. I was hoping to do it all wirelessly, but am open to the thought of some hardwiring. (I even ran cat 7 from the server room to the barn... as I'm sure I'll need to link up some hubs).

Notes:

• Starlink will be the internet (150mbps or so) but fiber likely in the future, all coming into the server room.
• Server room has a media server that serves up

So 1 1/2 years on vine and I take it fairly seriously. I only get products that I know I'll use, and I often have a decent backlog of reviews to do because I want to make sure I have used the product enough to know if it's good or bad.

This weekend, I needed a new lawn trimmer. There was an electric one with great reviews, and I pulled the trigger. It wasn't cheap.

I am trying to rebuild my Windows Storage Pool with 3 4TB drives and a single 14TB drive.

The Storage Space accepts all the physical disks just fine (reporting 23.7T capacity) but when I try to create a simple virtual disk, fixed size, it maxes out at 14.6T.

I'm not mirroring or anything... just a simple single drive to hold all media. Is there something simple I'm missing or is this a limitation of Virtual Disks I'm missing?
