With the sale coming up (I realize it's still a ways away, but I'm restless) I've been trying to think of a few titles to snag but trying to pick only a few out of the entire collection is near impossible. So, suffice it to say I'd be glad if anyone would be willing to give me some recommendations; I'll also leave my Blu-Ray collection here as a reference: https://boxd.it/1tGYA Thanks in advance!

I wanted to ask here first before I asked anywhere else since I like the people in this sub quite a bit. The films I have codes for are:

  • Son of Saul

  • Gone Girl

  • The Hateful Eight

  • The Revenant

  • Taxi Driver

  • Nocturnal Animals (I can't find a specific expiration date anywhere on this one, but I would assume it's still good).

Edit: All codes have been taken.

Thanks to everyone who participated!

Does anyone know if there are ever any Criterion sales on Amazon? One in December would be great but I'm not holding my breath.

Out of the following four films, which would you most personally recommend:

  • Persona
  • Being John Malkovich
  • Blood Simple
  • Barry Lyndon

Thanks in advance.

Edit: I've come to the conclusion that I'll be buying Persona as well as Being John Malkovich, because why not? I'll also be buying Stalker because I was already going to buy that anyway.

Edit #2: Also probably Barry Lyndon. 'Least I crossed Blood Simple off this purchase haul!

I don't believe I've seen anything posted about this on this subreddit, so I just wanted to let you guys know. The sale lasts 'till the end of the month, to my knowledge. Most Criterions are about $20 right now.

Henlo, I was wondering if anyone here ever buys movies on Cybermonday (specifically on Amazon). Is it a great day to buy movies (good deals and whatnot) or is it basically the same as any other day?

Thanks in advance.

I'm thinking about buying Stoker (along with Thirst after seeing The Handmaiden and loving it, sadly on DVD as there's no region A Blu-ray of it) and was wondering what your guy's thoughts on it were and if you think it's worth buying.

Title. Someone else might have recently asked this, but I dunno. The bosses I beat first try were:

  • Iudex Gundyr
  • Vordt
  • Crystal Sage
  • Abyss Watchers
  • Wolnir
  • Old Demon King
  • Sulyvahn
  • Yhorm
  • Dancer
  • Dragonslayer Armour
  • Oceiros
  • Champion Gundyr
  • Twin Princes
  • Ancient Wyvern
  • Soul of Cinder

P.S. not trying to show off, I was using cheesy build on my first playthrough and pretty much just tanked everything. I'm no Ray Dhimitri.

Please prevent my suicide by giving me advice. Also I have beaten him many, many times but never feel very confident, and he gets way harder on NG+ .

So I'm assuming that both the Treants and Hellquist both have the same chances to drop The Bee with Maliwan capacitors? I've spent hours and hours farming Hellquist, and only got one Grounded The Bee, and that was months ago. Probably R N Gesus just has yet to show me mercy.
