I’ll be flying into BOS Wed. July 15 about 6:00pm and renting a car to drive on up to Rockport that night.

Am I crazy to think I could find parking and see some of the tall ships that evening? Do you think there’d be parking near Boston Fish Pier? Would Charlestown Navy Yard be better? Or is the last night of “Sail Boston” just too crowded for finding parking at that time, anywhere close for a couple of hours? Thanks for any advice.

Needing to buy a small loveseat (max 66” wide) and wondering which would be comfortable enough for watching a whole movie. The Apt2B Scott loveseat looks good. Anyone have first-hand experience with it? Are there others of any brand you’d recommend? Thanks.

In escrow but I’ve just learned there is no reserve study for this 30 unit townhouse-style condominium complex that’s 40 years old. How can I judge if the $75,000 in the reserve fund is sufficient? What I do know is ——>The annual budget is expected to have an 8k net balance at end of year. All roofs were redone in 2013. There’s no pool, elevators, or clubhouse. Complex has asphalt streets that look decent. HOA fee is $300/mo and the HOA board seems very active with maintenance of grounds, painting, roof repairs, new mailboxes, etc. Owners are responsible for doors, windows, unit’s sewer line to main, and all vents from unit. Should I walk or continue with the sale knowing I better save for

Found a condo in Atlanta I like. The bylaws, CC&R, and various rules are available on the condo’s website. However, the seller’s agent says that due to the owner having passed away recently, there is no Seller’s Disclosure and she has no other condo documents. Any suggestions on how I can get copies of the reserve study, annual budget, minutes of meetings, confirm reserved parking, etc.? Should the Estate’s administrator complete a Seller’s Disclosure form? Can I or my agent ask the HOA for the docs? I’d like to see them before making an offer. Thanks!

Thanks to this subreddit, I learned so much and I got my $0 balance today!

Timeline:

Nov. 2010 - Entered repayment on a graduated repayment plan, with all direct loans and working for a qualifying employer. Did not know about PSLF.

2011-2014 - Various periods of forbearance.

2014-2017 - Started paying monthly with auto deduct, but servicer did not change the Forbearance Status. (So later these 40 months that I actually paid would not be counted without the IDR Waiver.)

March 2017 - Learned about PSLF but was on wrong payment plan. Was not told of the IDR repayment plans, but servicer recommended the Extended Graduated Plan for a more manageable payment. So I continued on a wrong plan

Thanks to the PSLF Waiver, I’ve met all the requirements for PSLF though I’ve always been on an ineligible plan. I have 59 qualified months now for PSLF or TEPSLF.

I also see that I have 74 cumulative Forbearance months during periods of already approved ECFs, and I want to be sure those months get counted in the IDR Waiver review this fall. (I actually made payments in over half of those months but they aren’t counting as qualified due to being made while in “Forbearance Status”. That doesn’t seem right since I actually gave them $$$money, but glad they should count soon with the IDR Waiver.) With the 74 cumulative FB months counted, I’ll be at a total of 133 qualified months. Can’t wait

I have all direct loans (on a Graduated Payment Plan) with the same repayment periods so I did not consolidate, and I submitted an ECF in Nov. 2021 which was approved. Apparently, Ed has counted my months in Repayment status as I now have a count of 59 months as “Qualifying”.for PSLF.

However the details for my account show that I made 40 additional payments (dollar amounts are shown) but they are noted as in a Forbearance period. I’m sure I was billed those months. The details on each of those 40 payments say “You have an ineligible repayment plan.”

My Question: Should I appeal that those 40 actual payments should count now as “Qualifying”? Or should I wait for them to be credited in F
