Bit niche, but hopefully someone will know.

Taking the kid to Dreamland tomorrow, obviously getting them a wristband so they can ride all day - but wondering about the best way of paying for rides when she wants a grown up to go on with her.

Won’t need more than 10 tokens split between Dad/Mum/Gran - wondering if Dreamland really do change their tokens each year, or can I get away with buying 20 tokens (cut price deal), use 10 and keep the other 10 for next summer?

The website does say you can’t do that - but just wondering if you can get away with it? Has anyone done it? Or do they change the token design each year to stop you?

Thanks

Went to see Wicked in the cheap seats, thanks to the banking & the staging it was a really good view so can’t complain at all for the price and the leads are absolutely stunning.

When I sat down there was a couple just in front who asked the programme seller ‘are there any unsold seats a bit closer’. He said (fair enough I thought) if there are any that you see I don’t have a problem with you moving to them at the interval but wait till then in case they are occupied but by late comers.

One of the couple them claimed to have severe vertigo which was being triggered by the banking / height of their seat & asked to be moved. Programme seller called their supervisor & hey presto they were mov

Had loads of help from this group while planning our day, so if anyone finds the following helpful for next year.

Tickets - got ticket email from the applause store on 6th July saying we had been successful in the ballot. Email said ticket exchange would close at 08:45 for the Wed 5th Aug AM filming.

Hotel - booked Hotel (Ibis Budget) for £45 the same morning the email from Applause Store arrived for Tues 4th Aug. Twin Room (no breakfast) triple room was available for same price. Hotel is very basic, rooms quite small - but clean & staff friendly.

Queue - Arrived at queue (really short walk from hotel) just after 6am. Only about 100 people in front of us. Ticket Exchange started at 7:15am

Was lucky to get tickets for the morning recording of the semi final. Email says ticket collection will close at 08:45.

For those who went to the morning semi final last year - what time does the queue start to form? I know for the regular all day recordings (which start at 11am) the queue starts from around 6am. Is it the same for the semi final or last year did people start queuing even earlier?

Secondly when do they start admitting you into the arena? If we get there for 6am will we have time to grab breakfast before needing to go into the arena (like people on a regular recording day do) or is turnaround too tight?

Low Effort partners

Find A Friend/Partner :man_scottie:

I’m lucky enough to have finished the album after the dig, so just looking to get the 1st reward (200 dice) on all 4 towers. Let me know if you want to partner up just to grab the dice and go no further.

Can the massive glut of Homer’s Hoagie available right now be a warning to all those people who vote for Golden Blitz stickers that they already have, hoping to trade them if they win the poll.

IT 👋DOES👋NOT👋WORK👋

I’m literally giving away 2 Homer’s Hoagie stickers & only one has been taken. There is no market in gold dupes that everyone has, so stop voting for them to win the polls!
