Iam sorry if this violates rule 14 or any other rule.I saw a similiar post few days ago and iam having a hard time right now.It would be great to vent a little to like minded people.
The verbs that and with alpha(stress) omega;
- μιλάω (miláo) – I speak
- πεινάω (peináo) – I’m hungry
- διψάω (dipsáo) – I’m thirsty
- αγαπάω (agapáo) – I love
- ρωτάω (rotáo) – I ask
there is set of rules to conjuagate according to pronuns.(i apologise if its not correct way to explain this, english is not my native language either)
for I(Egho);these verbs end with -alpha,omega or-omega. No problem here
for You(singular)(Esi) the verbs and with -alpha sigma. No problem here either
For he/she/it,verbs end with -άει.How do we pronounce this?can you give it example conjugating it with a verb?Thank you
Things i know at the time iam making this post:Alphabet, rules regarding the alphabet and the sounds that does not exist in alphabet, small vocabulary, basic words to greet and speak(if you call it speaking) and now iam studying grammar spesificially articles
articles is quite hard for me because my native language does not have such thing(or does not have in a way greek does).Would love to solve this obstacle with someone.
I am watching a video on Udemy and the teacher pronounces ou in πού as "o+u" but i learned that we had to pronounce it as "oo" as in "loot".
Is it mistake?I already spotted another mistake in earlier lessons. These kind of things makes me want to get refund but i dont have much good sources either.
In my previous post, I wanted to study the additional sounds beyond the alphabet, but I got a bit confused. Now I think I understand them all, and I’ve taken systematic notes.
Iam studying with chatgpt.Iam trying to study rules of letters. However i got the feeling of ai being confused and gives me wrong rules. Can native greeks or people who have knowledge look at these and tell me if these are correct?iam studying them,it would be awful if they were wrong. Also if they are correct iam happy to hear any tips to learn them faster.Thank you

I’m majoring in Greek language. I’m just a beginner, but I’ve started working every single day to make sure I pass my classes. I’d really like to find a study partner to help me polish my accent and improve my skills for school.
I’m a 22-year-old male. I’d prefer to talk through mic and camera, though it’s totally fine if you don’t want to use a camera. My only real preference is finding someone to study with.
If you’re also a beginner, or if you’d like to practice your knowledge by talking with me, let me know!

Some random lunatic making a post here is quite possible but what i dont believe is that most people here supported it.I mean i would love to learn if such thing is real or not but this comment implies majority of ANs share similiar views like hurting children. This comment also states that even mods supported it
This is a video i stumbled upon youtube talking about worst subreddits. The whole video is about this subreddit cringe that subreddit is cringe. The only thing the guy says about AN is that we apparently blame all our problems to our parents.Iam not sure if this guy is living in a first world country with priviliges thinking he is alpha sigma male
