Idea: Buff the loot found in Military crates and other lower tier crates.

Why it works: Clans often dominate the top loot locations. This would enable solos and small teams to have a better chance at grabbing high quality items they otherwise might not get access to.

Yes, clans would potentially benefit from this too, but it wouldn't help them as much. A clan finding the occasional extra AK isn't as impactful to them as a solo getting lucky and finding a high quality item they hadn't unlocked yet.

Top tier loot crates would still have the best loot of course, I'm just suggesting we close the gap a little.

What do you think?

I thought I'd share it in case it helps anyone...

If you can't see any servers when trying to play Rust, try adjusting this setting on Steam:

  • Go to Steam (the word Steam in the top left of your Steam browser) > Settings > In Game > Server browser pings/minute.
  • By default the Server browser pings/minute is set at 5000. Try reducing it. I reduced mine to 3000 and it worked. You can go lower if you need to.

I love that we can customise the difficulty levels in SOD2 and independently adjust the difficulty of zombies, resources etc.

I'd like to expand on that for SOD3. Let us customise everything when we're starting up a new game (I'm imagining something like when you start a new World in Don't Starve and you can tinker with everything).

For example:

Maybe I want to play a game one day where there aren't any freaks but there are absolutely massive hordes of regular zombies. Maybe I want to do the opposite in the next game and play a game where all the zombies are ferals.

Maybe I want a game with no cars or guns. Or maybe I want a game with loads of the

Taken from Steam:

"OI GITS!

We've seen a bunch more players jump on now that the EGS version was released yesterday - which is great

What's not-so-great is that unfortunately we've also seen reports of connection issues, with host/client desync and matches ending suddenly, kicking everyone back to the menu, as well as other things

We're looking into this as top priority and hope to have some fixes ASAP

In the meantime, here's some potential workarounds Can't join a game:

  • Try a different one for a bit then try the previous one again if you still want to join it

Can't join any games / can't create a game:

  • Restart Steam. Make sure Speed Freeks isn't running still in Task

Hello to both the experienced players and any other noobs like me! I love the game & I've been playing it for several hours a day since I got it.

I think my favourite vehicle is the Snazzwagon but I've changed my mind several times so it'll probably be a different one tomorrow. 😄

V7.23.2 PATCH NOTES

Gameplay Changes:

  • Epic Store now has support for achievements.
  • It is now possible to move the camera in the tactical combat using click-and-drag with middle mouse button.
  • Accuracy drop-off when weapons are firing beyond range are now modifiers rather than flat values - in practice, this means that a weapon that loses 10% accuracy per tile after max range will now always fall to 0% hit chance after 10 tiles. This isn't really a nerf, because damage drop-off was always a modifier and so weapons would do zero damage if they hit a tar
