So I tend to play in the earlier starting dates but it occurs to me that Christianity (both Catholic and Orthodox) typically turns into a heresy riddled monstrosity while I can hardly remember Islam doing the same. Come to think of it I rarely see Muslim heretics at all.

What gives? Why does Christianity tend to implode more often than not while Islam and the Pagans do alright?

Hello. I've recently been reading up on Adorno and Horkheimer's diagnosis regarding the Culture Industry and I wonder if any philosophers have written about it regarding current society with technological advancements like the internet and what the implications (if any at all) could be regarding the culture industry.

Could you recommend me some articles and/or books that I could dive into regarding this subject? I'll take either critiques or defenses of Adorno and Horkheimer's theory.

Thanks in advance.
