Can we just spell the fucker's name correctly so that people who don't want to see it, don't have to see it?
Deliberate practice is a practice technique where you almost single-mindedly focus on one aspect of play for some time.
I've hit a wall in my 1v1 OS at about 30 and according to my replays, most of my failures are due to poorly expanding or inadequately scaling my energy, BP, or build capability (i.e. getting stalled by the rate at which units leave their factory). In order to improve, I want to play scenarios where I literally only macro and have an allied AI take all my combat units to fight an enemy AI. I want this to happen pretty much automatically. I don't want the ally AI to have their own base.
Ideally I'd also like to be able to
Every time I try to do a drift in this game my DiRT Rally instincts kick in and I let off the gas and tap the brake because that's how you initiate a drift in that game (and most sim-ish games), but in this game you have to hold a turn for a while and then brake. It's going to take me months to unlearn this habit.
Loving Trackmania so far though. The sheer amount of content available is so nice and there's more every day!
I don't see a lot of ugly in-progress late-game cities here. Dol-Omut. 10,000 Dondorians, 200 Cantors, all citizens no slaves, v70

My issue is twofold:
-
I'm trying a pure Dondorian run, and Dondorians have a growth rate of a blistering 2% per day.
-
I'm fighting an Amevian faction so none of the towns have any starting population of Dondorians; I have to start at 0.
Is there any way to make that faster? Or alternatively, is there any way to like transfer the population from one city (conquered or main) to another? If I can seed even just 100 Dondorians on a new conquest it would make everything go so much quicker.
I'm playing Ironman so I don't think console commands are open to me. If I reform into a republic, can I ditch the lich and get the artificer estate after?
Put aside anything mechanical about them, because I'm sure that's all subject to strange.
I love how they flood the battlefield, I love seeing them charge, I love how they completely mow down other soldiers on the charge, I love seeing them cut down a giant's HP bar, and I love exposed you feel when none are behind you. The little dudes and dudettes add so much flavor to the battlefield and its vaguely fantasy-WW1 theme. I love them and I love throwing them at the enemy.
