I’m currently choosing between Slovakia and Croatia for my future, and I’d really appreciate some honest advice from people who live or studied there.
My plan is to move to one of these countries, learn the local language from scratch, and then enroll in a vocational / trade school to train as a professional hairdresser / hairstylist. I have no previous experience in the beauty industry, so I’d be starting completely from zero.
My main priorities are:
**Tuition:** Ideally, I’d like to study in the local language without paying tuition fees. I’ve read that public education in Slovakia can be free in Slovak, but I’m not sure how this works for non-EU students. Is vocational e
