Hi all,

I've been looking for PC games I (keyboard) can play with my daughter (usb xbox controller), both on Steam or freeware/clones of classic arcades.

So far we had the best times playing PowerBomberman with absolutely no trouble with the controller/players settings, however racing titles on Steam like Beach Buggy Racing 2 and Disney Speedstorm with the tags "splitscreen" and "local multiplayer" have issues recognizing the controller or offering VS options at all.

Could you help me out finding games with simple mechanics, possibly on the freeware side of the world?

many thanks

Hi all,

I am looking for a new housemate. What are the major platforms to post an ad nowadays?

I've been doing the Facebook groups and flatmates.com.au thing but wondering if I am missing some other big platform to find a like-minded housemate. I know the question has been asked often, but the last post I found on the matter is one year old so maybe things have changed!

Also DM me if you want to share a house in Rivervale from mid October!

Hi all

It's time to camp and enjoy trees, but my favourite campground is closed (due to alcoa mining operations).

I am looking for a similar campground to go pondering about life. My only requirements are that it's located in a tall trees wood, just like Hoffman mill is, and it is accessible by regular car. Bonus point for bbq or drinkable water taps to reduce the amount of stuff I'll carry, as I am also browsing for my first bike packing experience.

Thanks for the suggestions and don't forget to go camping and see the stars

Hi all, I may as well add my experience with Canwell, since I'm reading around there have been struggles around their patients and I'm one of them partially affected.

Last year I decided to go with Canwell and Dr Cheng for my first prescription ever, after following the reviews here. Like others, I have been happy with the customer service, the kindness and the smoothness of the process (so much that it actually changed my view on our current legislation).

After the appointment I decided to order from the site only half the quantity I got prescribed, and get the rest later on.

That "later on" was about 3 weeks ago, when my prescribed cannabis was out of stock.

The next day i was told

I come from combustion and this thing is so impressive I'm not looking backward at all. Tooks only two days to understand the hype it created and all the reasons why. This community has helped immensely to get through the learning process: Thank you!

I'm having troubles understanding if my next upgrade should be a pocket friendly IH, if such a thing even exist, or if I just have to upgrade the torch. I'm biased towards torching to keep everything portable and discreet.

You see, today was my first long outdoor day since i started using the M. I live in a windy part of the world and my two flames butane torch ran out of fuel. Soft flame aren't an option here, so I had to renounce to my meds.

Hi all,

Seeking suggestions as I lost all my willing, skills and patient required to write cover letters and tailored resumes. I need help by someone who does this job, and can deal with an ignorant client.

Thanks

Edit: the ignorant client who isn't able to sit down and write is me. I find changing job absolutely daunting.

I'm not doing much riding, and I'm trying to motivate myself to ride alone, before re-entering the group rides. My body is weak and my brain is lazy.

I know the regular riders here are great folks who hopefully would like to propose rides or joining in others, so that the MNR will keep going.

(I'm all good, will buy another bike to motivate myself to ride more, as per cycling tradition)

Hi all,

Preface that I'm out of the loop when it comes to COVID in Australia, except for the basic instructions given by health authorities.

It's not a disinterest driven by lack of trust, or whatever mental illness is making people so close to conspiracies. I just don't care about the numbers because I want to feel optimistic, but when I have a closer look at the situation I feel like not much is getting done, in terms of preparation for the big opening, and then I start thinking about worldwide reactions to the pandemic, and it's just a depressing slippery slope of consciousness I rather avoid to have.

Today one of the people I work for has received a message of casual contact to a COVI

Express your interest and also propose a route. The route with majority of votes get it!

Perhaps this could be a way to organize new year rides?

Happy new year everyone, I'm sorry I'm not always present here, but you're all awesome.

Special thanks to Mr Smith, Camel, and regularF to put the extra effort to keep this alive.

Thanks everyone who has ridden with us or wants to. The more, the merrier.
