Recently a new rule was added at the top of the Corner Gas subreddit, but not communicated to the community:

NO POLITICS!

None. Not at all.

Slightly less recently than that, a popular video by Brent Butt was removed from the sub. It had over 600 points and 100 comments. I won't link it here, since it's forbidden now, but I found it an enlightening thread.

In a now removed stickied comment from that very threat, a mod posted the simple warning: "Tread lightly. Tread VERY VERY lightly." That stickied comment received 3 follow-up comments asking the mod to please clarify how they were supposed to take it, and that comment thread was subsequently locked to prevent further follow-up co

Also the "Tread VERY VERY LIGHTLY" threat was removed as well.

It doesn't break any sub rules, and it doesn't break any of the site-wide rules linked in the new sticky comment either, nor does it violate the moderator code of conduct to leave it up.

I'm guessing it was removed cause of the mild backlash to the embarrassing threat up front.

I can take it or leave it but it makes for a weirder subreddit, I think this is a good chance for the almost 15k subscribers to discuss what they want this sub to be and where they want it to go, and perhaps a chance to get everyone up to speed on the new sitewide

There's no shortage of 1-star reviews that can corroborate that this device has absolutely no suction power and cannot ever suck moisture from anywhere, let alone a carpet or couch cushion or anything at at all. It can spray soapy water (the overpriced proprietary cleaning solution that is literally just watered down dish soap, that you're then supposed to water down further), but it just leaves every thing completely wet and full of moisture. It fundamentally cannot suck up water ever and the dirty-water container will stay perpetually dry (except for maybe 1ml of surface water after using it the device for an hour; from errant droplets that likely just got forced in from all the agitation)

Hey, I got the same old problem with Cloudflare just being stuck in an endless redirect loop.

It DOES work with --temp-basedir. But I can't figure out what config option is fucking with it.

  • Tried lots of user agents, notably 'Mozilla/5.0 ({os_info}) AppleWebKit/{webkit_version} (KHTML, like Gecko) {qt_key}/{qt_version{upstream_browser_key}/{upstream_browser_version} Safari/{webkit_version}', but all the other defaults or other online suggestions as well. No change.

  • content.autoplay true or false, no change.

  • content.cookies.accept no-3rdparty or all, no change.

  • Using qt6-webengine.

I've read the github issue thread religi
