If you're in the USA, I'd seriously recommend not carrying cash. Don't let people know you're willing to take it either.

People are not dumb. Had some true hoods in the bario. They know some rideshare drivers take cash. The more people take cash, the more dangerous this job can become.

Taxi drivers had dividers in their vehicles for a reason. They were targets for the quick robbery.

In fact, that's exactly the way the person will get robbed.

They'll be offered cash.

Person will know driver accepts cash and assumes they have a bank on them.

Robber will collect their money and whatever else.

Great thing is, all of this is undocumented because driver turned off the app!!

Before you say

1. Whenever someone tells you they're are in a rush; DO NOT RUSH.

No good deed goes unpunished. I've had 2 riders complain about my driving after I've tried to help them out by driving aggressively to keep a schedule for someone. Fuck that now. I'll politely let them know that I have to drive within the legal limits and if I'm in an unfamiliar area I may need to drive slower than I'd normally drive.

2. Bad pickup/drop off can be a BIG deal.

PAX wanted a pickup at a very busy intersection. This intersection has a train station, bus stop, multiple businesses, multiple multi-unit dwellings. Double parked on the opposite side of the street. Most would've said it was *unsafe
