For context, I am a young, relatively attractive woman traveling alone. I’m currently staying near a small airport and noticed that there were a lot of very small passenger planes. Maybe 2 to 4 people can fit in. I don’t really know too much about airplanes, but they were very small. I’m contemplating if it was even possible if I could go up to the pilots of the small aircrafts tomorrow and ask nicely if I could go up in their planes with them and I’d be curious from people that fly if that’s a longshot or….

Film camera but digital?

Camera Buying Advice

Hello knowledgeable people!

I imagine I am not the first or last person to ask this but I am looking for a digital camera that shoots in a film-like/disposable style. I'm going to be on a solo road trip and want something compact, lasts, and can take a lot of photos on a budget. >$300

Is this possible? If so, what are your suggestions?

Thank you!

Thank you everyone that gave input and your responses helped me understand what I’m looking for much more.
My partner is going to help me with raising the budget and I’m going to get a OM System Tough TG-7.

Hi everyone, my name is Madison Segarra. I’m a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling living in the Los Angeles. I’m reaching out to see if any parents of children ages 3–8 might be interested in a 30-minute play therapy session that would feel very similar to a structured play date, in the home or local library.

This session is for a graduate course requirement and is purely educational in nature — your child will not be diagnosed or labeled in any way. The session would be recorded solely for my professor’s review and securely deleted afterward.

I’m happy to answer any questions, share more details about the process, or schedule a brief call beforehand so you can feel com

Hi everyone! This weekend I’m looking to drive over to Vegas for Cowboy Christmas. It’s only going to be a 1 night trip and I’d like to car camp. Are there any spots you lot would recc in between and closer to Vegas? 1-2 hrs out from Vegas?

Thank you in advance!

Hi everyone,

I live in DTLA and my lease agreement says I’m not allowed to paint the apartment. I’d really like to add some color, but I’m worried about the consequences.

If I painted and then repainted it back to the original color before moving out, would that still be considered a violation that could lead to eviction? Or would it just mean they could charge me if I didn’t return it to the same condition?

Has anyone dealt with this in LA specifically? Just trying to figure out if this is a hard “no” or more of a “return it to how you found it” type of situation.

Thanks!
