I’m doing some work at a property where the previous owners were big into Japan and built a bunch of Japanese style structures, Torii gates, Buddhist statues, and even a Shrine on the property, or at least as close they could get to one. The current owners are turning the property into a spiritual retreat and when I mentioned the building was a Shrine suddenly it became my job to figure out what was needed to finish it since I was the only one who knew what it was. Basically they want to finish it and then put up signs talking about what each thing is, its history, and its religious significance. I tried asking about reaching out to the original owners to find out what their plans for it wer
Can someone who’s a bit more familiar with the LN clarify what exactly happened to Alfred and when? From what I understand Alfred is dead and his body is being possessed by Mephileto a demon who is/was the Demon Lord’s right hand, in order to go around sowing chaos as The Guide. Where I’m a bit lost is when exactly Alfred died and got possessed??
Because he was also supposed to be a victim of Goldran, so did he in fact survive the Goldran incident and only died/got possessed later when he went missing, or did he actually die as a result of Goldran’s transfer healing and the demon took over his corpse then and there meaning the entire time he was at the hospital studying under Becker he was
I first learned to play this game as a little kid with my brother from our mom and it was just as confusing back then. One of my relatives got out of hospital recently and I’ve been looking after them with another relative which lead to the 3 of us playing this game at night before bed for the last few days
Each player except the dealer is dealt 7 cards from a standard 52 card deck with the jokers removed, the dealer is dealt an extra 8th card and goes first. Once all the cards are dealt the top card is burnt and the card underneath it is placed face up, the card immediately below the face up card in value from the same suit is a wild card that can be any card you want. Ace’s are high so in
I don’t care about spoilers I just want to know if I’m right
I’m caught up on the manga, but I’m so confused, I thought the hole point of the Prince regent tradition was that they’re supposed to marry the crown princess, so how the hell does she have a different fiancee who’s the prince of a different kingdom? That doesn’t make any sense and having 3 different manga doesn’t help. Can someone familiar with the LN explain, is there a translation error somewhere or what???
The story was really great right up until they introduced the time travel BS. We had 2 great characters helping each other overcome their past traumas, while falling in love and eventually getting married, wrapping up the story quite nicely. Then for absolutely no reason at all we get a worse version of the same story with versions of the characters that are less likeable and far less compelling
Also the reason for there being two time travel orbs was stupid, you’d think given that there’s two of them and they’re different colours that you’d need both to time travel properly and not die or create an unstable timeline, but nope it’s simply a backup system so that time gets reset whenever one
Transmutation circles aren’t one size fits all, each one is a specific formula that acts as the instructions for whatever is you’re trying to do, for example the classic turning lead in to gold formula is basically remove 3 protons and reassemble. In order to perform that transmutation you need to draw a circle with that formula, put the lead inside the circle, and activate it. This is why state alchemists have their alchemy formulas on some kind of accessory ready to go. We also see Alphonse early on drawing specific transmutation circles each time he sets a trap or when he fixes the radio
Those who have seen the truth are able to perform transmutations without a circle by clapping their h
