Hey folks!

A couple weeks ago I noticed someone left a nice, leather cue bag behind at my local bar. I handed it off to the bartender and went on my merry way. Note that this is not a pool hall and people very rarely bring their own cues -- it's just a faux-hipster bar with a 7' Valley. I was there last night and noticed the bag still there and my eyebrows raised off of my face anime-style.

There's two McDermotts -- least I'm assuming they both are. One of the shafts has nothing on it and the other is a G-Core.

I talked to the bar manager and they say after 30 days they normally just toss stuff, so I put in a little "Heyyyyyyy mind letting me know if no one rescues their sticks...

Hi folks,

Not much else to say. My roommate likes to try and rent her room out on AirBnB when she's visiting her parents for the weekend, or -- in this instance -- for a week while she's abroad on vacation.

There's a third roommate who travels a lot for work and won't be around for this stay. That means I'd be playing host -- check-in, the entire duration of the stay, and check-out. Fairly certain landlord is not aware, fairly certain this is not technically allowed. She offered a cut, but it's not about money and more about having a secure, safe, and comfortable living space.

Any of you dealt with this before? How'd you handle?

tl;dr: Roommate wants to rent room out on airbnb. I'

I'm enjoying a '15 Anjou from Richou right now and for the $18 shelf price I'm just in fucking awe at how delicious this stuff is. 13%, but feeling off-dry. Honeyed nose with apricots, bruised apples once you take a sip for that slightly oxidized but not really oxidized taste. Ugh. It's so good.

Please, can we all gush about this grape.

I'm not crazy tall, but I do have really long arms and tend to hold the cue literally as far back as I possibly can. I've always looked at where the wraps fall on cue butts and it makes me chuckle because it's nowhere near where I hold it.

Anyone else hold their cue so far back? Do I just need to invest in a crazy long cue (or an extension piece)?
