I think it’s pretty funny how Bill went from practicing “stick around and find out what I think about (topic x) after this break!” To randomly cutting off people in the middle of a word to go to commercial. I know a little about audio processing and it doesn’t take much effort to cut at the end of a sentence, this is just being lazy or using ai to optimize the placement of the ads.

Not sure if this is general knowledge yet but you can get you and two of your crew members and play the cpu coop street kings challenges and get crew levels that way.

Hey guys, I’ve spent way too much time of this issue and hope someone has an answer. Fiverr will only let me upload mp4 video, but the way davinci exports the video there’s no way to do mp4 with the “render as discrete audio tracks” enabled. If I export it as mov I can do this, which keeps my audio quality. I have two tracks one for voice over and one for music being rendered.

If I don’t have this selected my audio export sounds terrible it gets all reverberated and seems to lose audio quality.

It also says it accepts avi which I tried, and that also keeps my audio quality. but it doesn’t like the avi either and won’t let me upload it.

I received a used VideoMic Go II today and it works fine plugged into a camera. When I plugged it into the computer for the first time rode connect immediately recognized it and updated the firmware. It was still plugged into the camera at the time.

After it finished updating it disappeared from Rode Connect. I rebooted my computer, unplugged and replugged the usb c cable. Tried a different usb c cable. Checked the audio settings for inputs on the Mac. It doesn't show up at all under the Mac sound properties and it doesn't show up in Rode Connect. Any ideas? I'm hoping the update didn't mess up the USB C capabilities of the mic.

I looked at the pros and cons of different colors and decide to paint our home studio white for mainly doing headshots and portrait work. I'll use V flats if I need to control light.

That being said, that seems to be as far as the conversation goes on photography forums. From what I can tell I want to do a flat type paint so that I don't have hot spot reflections. But I'm not seeing in depth conversations on what brand, quality, and especially formula of paint people are buying.

I have a spare bedroom that has a tan carpet and tan colored walls. Pretty sure it’s affecting the color cast of photos I’m taking but wanted to ask.

I’d like to do some headshot portraits in here but I feel like the colors are coming out weird.

Can I get by with tan walls and adjusting white balance in camera or do I need to repaint and change out the flooring?

In areas with incandescent bulbs I’ve used gels before to match the color for flash then adjusted the white balance and everything works pretty well. Wondering what you all think.

I’m not charging for the pictures so I’d like to not have to do a bunch of work initially but just trying to see if it’s worth putting that effort.
