I need a sanity check. A friend I’ve known for over 25 years is throwing a tea party for her birthday. Right off the bat there is the wardrobe required. Then the invite says something about flowers and tea and a tea kettle and flowers and a hat. And I suppose a gift would also be appropriate.

My wardrobe consists of jeans and t-shirts. Am I a terrible person that I don’t want to deal with any of this?

Hi Everyone. Hope everyone is doing well.

I tried to do 75 Hard a few times. Twice since October. I am just not up for that at the moment.

I like the rules posted in the pinned post, so I am going to follow those. I want this to be sustainable so I can finish this challenge at least once! I'm 63F and need to lose 40 lbs. Hoping this will be not only a mental challenge but also enough of a physical challenge to get some momentum on the weight loss I'm looking for. I have lost about 15 pounds since the beginning of the year but then stalled.

Looking forward to following everyone's progress! Tell me what kind of goals you're hoping to achieve using this challenge!

I'm looking for anyone who has had to deal with Kaiser regarding an implant after reconstruction.

I developed a capsular contracture because I needed radiation. At the time I was told that they would need to be replaced every 10 years or so and that insurance companies were required to take care of any issues with reconstruction. When I talked to a plastic surgeon at Kaiser I was told that I could not have them removed and I would not like the results if I did.

I have not been able to find many pictures of people with a similar situation even though I bet it's not that uncommon. I would love to hear from anyone who has had implants in and what happens 15-20 years down the road.

Maybe I n

Is this charge reasonable?

California - Southern

I just received a bill for a 10 minute phone call with a nurse who was supposed to be explaining results of my bone density scan with me. All she did was read questions off a script and tell me to take a calcium and Vitamin D pill--all information that was in the report I had already read after my scan. The bill is $50 for this 10 minute phone call. It took them 3 months to even call me, my doctor won't discuss this with me and I already had more information from researching this on my own than the nurse gave me. I thought talking to a provider about results of a test was part of what my premium pays for. Is this reasonable and can I dispute this?

I signed up for a free trial for this app today. They were offering a 100 day free trial. As soon as I signed up, they charged me for an entire year. There is no easy way to get a refund like other apps have. When you write to their support email address to cancel they send you back a very convoluted and misleading email trying to get you to sign up for premium services. And then if you still want to cancel you have to send them a bunch more information which they should already have.

I’ve seen other people reporting additional charges on their credit card so I am not sure I will get my money back or if I have to worry about Renewal charges in the future. This company is shady and I do not

I'm trying to stay raw during the day at least. I like to go to the gym late morning or early afternoon. What would be the best things to eat before going to stay full enough to get through a 1-2 hour workout including resistance training and light cardio? Sometimes if I just eat fruit I feel too hungry and cut my workout short. TIA!

Are people waiting 5 weeks for heart now? They really need to do a better job of stating this up front instead of telling us 2-3 weeks. I'm really thinking this will be my first and last year.

DEXA with no follow up

California - Southern

I just had a DEXA with a result that puts me in the high osteopenia range and a high Frax score. They gave me a phone appointment for September with a nurse. How is this adequate care when your doctor can’t be bothered to tell you you have osteopenia and you can’t even talk to a nurse for 4 months? I can’t believe this is what we get for the outrageous premiums I pay. And I barely go to the doctor once a year. There has to be something better.

I’m on day 3 and feeling very optimistic and mentally and physically better every day.

I’m starting to worry though, am I on a pink cloud and how do I prepare for the day when I don’t feel like this? I want to keep this going no matter what.

Has anyone experienced this? My dog is scared of people and won't even go outside. She will even run away if I get too close sometimes. I just adopted her a month ago so I'm letting her stay mostly in her comfort zone. But at night, her entire personality changes. She is feisty and playful. She even started snuggling and rubbing her face on my feet. She tolerates petting but never seems to like it during the day. At night she's a big mushy puppy. What's going on here?

I tip well on every delivery. Every single time they stack my order and it takes an extra 30 or 40 minutes. Why should I pay $3 extra to not get cold food (if that even works). Shouldn’t hot food be the default?

Why don’t the drivers at least deliver my food first since it was sitting there the whole time the other order was being prepared.

I’m done with delivery. I guess I’m the idiot for continuing to order and tip well but tonight was the last time. If drivers want to screw over their customers they just might end up out of a job.
