I wanted to connect my laptop to two monitors at once. I got a Thunderbolt cable to take advantage of one of the USB-C ports since my monitor can send video, charge the laptop and provide peripherals when connected over USB-C. I connected the cable and my laptop would charge and use peripherals but I was not able to send video. HDMI video worked perfectly fine still. I know the cable or monitor is not the issue since I was able to connect my work computer and phone (Dex mode) to the monitor just fine with the same cable.

Back in the beginning of July a tree fell on our house. Insurance has been a nightmare to deal with from day one. To make a long story short, it took them 60 days to send an adjuster out. We have a sizable hole in our roof and one of the beams in the attic was cracked. Our adjuster was basically non responsive aside from a phone call or two to apologize for dropping the ball and then proceeded to go missing again.

We have a few clauses in the policy. They are surfacing, matching and a limited loss supplement that says we only get 52% of the roof covered. They did not know the age of our roof when it was inspected and it was guesstimated to be 2010. We were able to dig up an old MLS listing

All the early games start at 1pm but half the late window games start at 4:05 and half of them start at 4:25. Why is that?

I currently have Govee bulbs in my bedside lamps. I want to switch them to Zigbee enabled bulbs for improved functionality. They don't work well when updating multiple times in a row and sometimes take a while to update the states.
What is the best way to do this? Can I just change the entity names and IDs of the existing bulbs and then take the new ones and make their names match the old entities and IDs?

Every month my credit card payments or manual transfers show up all messed up with the wrong payees or accounts. Anyone else have this issue?

I downloaded a movie in a blu ray remux which is my highest quality. I realized that it has an IMAX Enhanced version which I would prefer over the highest quality. I set up a custom format for IMAX releases with a 100 score. When I manually search for the movie it shows that the score is +100 but shows an error that the quality profile is already matched. Is there any way to override that and have it upgrade even though the quality is met?
