Hi all,

I've been DCAing into ETFs for the past few years, mostly into VAS and VGS. I like to keep things simple and let the market do its compounding work.

Recently, I found out about IVV and historical returns look like IVV offers more growth and importantly, lower costs (MER).

My question is, if I want to switch to IVV, should I sell the VGS that I already own since it overlaps with IVV to a large extent? Or should I keep VGS as is and DCA into IVV from now on?

I understand that if I sell VGS, I will trigger capital gains and therefore may have to pay tax on that. I'm currently a non-tax resident of Australia since I'm working overseas at the moment.

I am planning to return to Au

Hi all, we will be in Busan for the next week or so.

Any recommendations or suggestions on where we could watch the World Cup in Busan ? Would love to experience the Korean spirit while watching the South Korea World Cup matches so public screenings would be great too.

We will also be leaving Busan to Seoul on the 19th, ideally after the South Korea - Mexico match so would there be any good venues near the Busan KTX station or Busan Central Bus station?

Thank you!

Hi all,

My wife and I will be visiting Taiwan for around 7 days beginning of May.

We want to experience both the city and nature of Taiwan. We know 7 days is not a lot for Taiwan so we plan to stay in Taipei for around 4-5 days and do a 2-3 day short getaway somewhere a little quieter, slower-paced, and surrounded by nature.

The initial plan was to train to Hualien and visit Taroko Gorge there, but I just learnt that many of the epic hikes are still closed due to the earthquake two years ago.

Given this, we are wondering what other good suggestions there are for a logistically easy 2-3 day getaway from Taipei where we can slow down. The ideal kind of place would be somewhere where we

Hi all,

Been considering visiting Central Asia (Kazakstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan) this summer. I have backpacked SEA and parts of Latin America and I wonder: how does Central Asia compare?

Has anyone done SEA/Latin America and can share the following comparisons from their experience:

- Cost of food / activites / transport / accommodation

- Ease and convenience of travelling as a foreigner

- Diversity of cultures / landscapes / activities

- Overall value of the experience

Thanks in advance!
