Okay, not sure if this is where I post this sort of question. My ten year old has been bugging me for a year now to get into electronics. He wants to play with circuits, wiring, and even those little solar panels. He does very well in school and his work is a couple grades above most his age but we are starting at ground zero and he is only ten. Also, there is a catch....he is color blind. I have told him he might be out of luck but I will ask around for him. He mentioned wanting to study environmental engineering...I felt silly not knowing there really was such a thing until looking it up. Can he still do this being color blind? and how to get him started?

My husband wants to switch to this Pure TalkUSA. I have never heard of it before and the reviews are sparse. Has anyone had any long term experience with the company? I am leery of it...the whole if it sounds too good to be true theory comes to mind.

Last year I did a dry brine for our turkey and would like to do it again this year. The turkey meat turned out good but there was a problem. The skin was horribly salty and so were the drippings. No big deal for the skin but I couldn't make any gravy. Stuffing and mash potatoes were no fun without the gravy.
