Hi, so this just happened and needless to say that's some weird stuff.. I really feel like I'm in a bad American flick.

I also have to say that sometimes I really am dense as hell so please excuse me if I didn't catch up with what was happening in the moment.

To be short, I've been harassed by calls from hidden number for about a week now, and for once I was by my phone when it rang, and in enough of a good mood to answer. Here's approximately what was said (was in french but here it is roughly translated) :

Me - Hello ?

Girl - Well uh hello, I hope it's not weird but...

Me - ...well yeah go on ?

Girl - Do you think you could be my father ?

Me - (thinking it was a prank) Haha well

Hello everyone, so it happens again and again even on new scenes but :

While placing tiles on my tilemap (isometric), they keep aligning from the top instead of the bottom. I did not have the problem earlier but now whatever the settings except for compatibility (sending them one more rank below) they stay aligned this way.

Maybe that's just something obvious I don't know...

Things to know :

- Some tiles are around 500 pixels high on a 128*64 tilemap
- Files are .png
- I reuploaded the tiles several times
- They're homemade (paint+krita to add alpha)

Help ?

Ok, so I totally crashed a Day, and was left with >!144 gold and the casino!<. Since I had a >!Broken Lever!< and nowhere else to go, I decided to >!cram all of my money into the golden machine, and see if anything happens!<.

I've been at it for almost an hour and still >!have 83 coins!<, so can you please tell me if something is to be expected or if I'm foolish and wasting my Friday ?

!I reaaaaaly don't find any excitement in gambling and joy and happiness are slowly becoming foreign concepts as I spiral into despair...!<

HELP ! (?)

I started the game with a custom dinasty in Wales, going full inbred with Adamism as a religion to allow female heirs and to be able to marry sisters and brothers, all in the sake of being able to craft and chose the perfect inbred heir.

Fast forward to ~1100 and I have to search more and more for obscure family members with the pure blood trait to marry. Fast forward even more to 1317 and I've got my first Emperor (Great Brittain) without the pure blood trait for I was unable to find anyone bearing it and sadly my late Emperor didn't pass it to anyone.

As the title says, is it gone forever ? Any way to make it reappear ?

Maybe ten years ago I stumbled upon a random fact about a people that ate an ungodly amount of some contraceptive plant as part of their diet and thus (lets be cautious with exceptional claims) was *supposedly *unaware of any link between having children and the birds and the bees. I'd like to include a reference to this story in a current content I'm making but i can't find anything about any of this on google. I also asked ChatGPT but it always asks for more context that I obviously can't provide.

Any help finding the name of this plant ?

Hi !

So we're currently trying to clean up a wooden shelf (tropical wood so some kind of tannin varnish I guess) and nothing can get rid of the varnish. Basic sanding is incredibly long (three full weekends, we're only roughly halfway into it) and when we go electric the varnish only becomes viscous once again and stains more wood (I guess because of the heat?). It's old varnish since we bought it from a previous owner who had it for at least a decade.

So I've got two questions : any idea what's going on? And considering the kind of wood and the potential hazards, what about the chemical options ? Would it work well/be worth it?

I'm kinda out of options/ideas and don't find any useful in

My current universe is a post apocalyptic world set in a futuristic southwestern Europe (Spain, Southern France, Italy and Switzerland).

In the near to mid far future (2087), humanity made first contact with the Centaurians in the worst way. Convinced there was no other life in the universe except for their homework, the Centaurians sent a massive colony ship to settle and "Centauraform" earth. Upon arrival and out of ressources to double back, they tried a gambit by declaring invasion and wiping Beijing of the map, only to be destroyed by a volley of ICBMs. Survival pods were systematically retrieved and survivors questioned and tortured, put on trial or simply exhibited by any nation they
