I've spent an hour or two scouring Amazon, Lumens, Wayfair, pretty much anything that comes up my way looking for a good wall lamp for our living room.

We have 3 lamps spread around the room, but this apartment doesn't have any overhead lighting in this area, so it gets fairly dark. All of our lighting is warm (3000 kelvin range or so?). Admittedly I've been very picky, but it's very hard to find sites that even let you search by whether it's corded or hardwired, and any time I do find a site that does the lamps look terrible! I saw some interesting flush LED wall scones on Amazon but any that are warm light had some pretty bad reviews overall and weren't corded, which is the absolute bigge

I just ended my employment as an HR associate with a relatively small business, but since the time I started working there I had some serious issues with them. On top of other things (undisclosed surveillance for starters, if his word can be trusted on that), he had me storing first and last names with social security numbers on an Excel sheet on a computer where the password is literally taped to the keyboard. I'm learning Japanese and have an English and Japanese keyboard on my S23. I've tried it in the grid and QWERTY settings and no matter what, I don't have the option to type in katakana instead of hiragana. It gives me suggestions so that I could turn the hiragana し to the katakana シ but I don't have the option to, by default, type directly in katakana. That breaks an app like Duolingo, where you don't get the suggestions and I can't swap it at all. Any help would be appreciated, thank you! And I'll answer any clarifying questions too of course.

I'm playing the most recent version of the game, all DLC. I have a resource silo built on one of my starbases and, as you can see, my resource cap is still at the initial 20k instead of 25k. What gives? The only mod I have is to allow me to choose my precursor.

Years ago I bought Oblivion in stores. A few months ago I got an XBox 1 cheap from a friend. You'd think the boost in hardware would make the game run very smoothly, but load times are high and there's pretty frequent lag. Is that just an issue of playing the game off the disk, and is there any solution that doesn't involve me buying a digital copy? I play most of my games on PC so I don't know a huge amount about the console honestly.

It was foggy out this morning and got me thinking of a series I read growing up. The main body of the stories wasn't scary, but it always had a creepy or unsettling twist near the end.

The one it made me think of had a group of children, against I believe their father's or another authority figure's wishes going out into the heavy morning fog. They cupped a handful of it and made a bird, which promptly flew away. That goes on for a short while until they hear his voice sadly rebuking them before returning the children back to that very same fog that they had been shaped from themselves. There's the twist.

I just ordered this card off Amazon and basically every single website in the reviews or on given on/with the product itself has been shut down. I think I found a website to download the right software from, but I have no idea what I'm doing. The readmes for the English version don't actually have an English readme, and when google translating the Spanish version, it also didn't actually have any helpful info. Hell, I'll attach a picture of the card I got, is this even the actual product I ordered? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Between long rests, the only things I can remember doing are travelling back to act 1 to summon and kill Lump and his crew in the goblin encampment, and rescuing Thaniel from the Shadowfell. After doing those 2 things, I come back to camp and suddenly Minthara has what shows as -45 approval with me. Anyone know what could be causing this bug? I have a mountain of gold and items I can throw at her to fix it, but I'd still rather be able to avoid it for the future if I can.

I knocked Minthara out in act 1, siding with the grove to help them. When I went to Moonrise to help her in act 2, I told her to hide and wait. Now, whenever I come back to her, I can't actually speak to her and there seems to be no way to interact with her at all. Is there any known way to fix this, and has it happened to anyone else before?

Within the last month or two, I rebuilt my PC with a new mobo, RAM (2 16 gig sticks), and CPU (Ryzen 5 7600X). The the SSD and graphics card (Radeon RX 6650 XT) are the same as the old build.

Twice now in the last 2 weeks, I've slept my PC, left it for a period of time and tried to boot it back on with the power button, and the first time it happened, by manually shorting the pins. Unplugging it and holding the power button for 10-15 seconds, plugging it back in and trying again seems to fix the problem so far, but I don't know if that's a common issue with this board, if it's a problem with my configuration, or

We're making ribs tonight, and we're planning on doing them low and slow in the oven at 275F. We'll be halving the carrots length-wise and tossing them in garlic, salt, and paprika.

We'd usually do about 400F for half an hour, but we want to put them in with the ribs so they'll be done at the same time.

How long would you recommend at this temperature to get them nice and tender, and should I cover them or leave them uncovered?
