So I'm looking for a new amp. One of that I'm considering is the xDuoo TA-30 (specifically the $499 Drop deal), which is the only one on my list with an integrated DAC, and I'm trying to figure out how to weigh that into my decision.

Presently, I'm using a 1st gen Focusrite Scarlett as my primary source. 14 years old at this point, but still plenty competent. If I don't get the TA-30, I'll probably keep using it for a while yet.

So how much would other amps around the $400-600 mark be held back if they're being driven by the Scarlett, compared to the xDuoo's ES9038Q2M-based DAC? Or if I decided to

I have breathing issues and an elevated resting heart rate, so I decided to try a Charge 6 as a health monitor (not so much as an exercise monitor). So far, it's been a complete failure at most things I've tried.

After two weeks of usage, it's only managed to track a total of about 2.5 hours of sleep. I've tried all the suggestions on their website like wearing it higher up on my wrist, no help. And apparently most of the health monitor features I was interested in rely on sleep tracking, so that's a complete failure too.

But apparently it really loves to track 'active zone' minutes! I'm routinely clocking over 2000 active zone minutes per day, which is pretty impressive considering th

My local Costco has the LG 65QNED85 on closeout for $599. 65", native 120hz, full array local dimming (albeit a modest 180 zones), ATSC 3.0 tuner, and 5 year total warranty. RTINGS review looks decent enough for me. Seems like the TCL and Hisense alternatives have worse off-angle image quality, which is a concern with my living room layout. I know some don't really like LG for anything but OLEDs, but at this price? Am I likely to find a better deal anytime soon (like Black Friday)?

Looking for something around the $300-400 range for media creation (not worried about gaming performance).

The Tom's Hardware review of the Monoprice Dark Matter 34" has me interested in it, particularly since it's a quantum dot display with extra high contrast. The DCI-P3 coverage is great too. Only thing that gives me pause is that the DeltaE is kinda meh even after calibration (I do have a calibrator).

Are there any alternatives I should consider in that price range (currently $399)? The Gigabyte G34WQC looks good, but it seems like it and others in this class can't match the Dark Matter for contrast and deep

How the hell do you manage to lose six games, all by eight points or fewer? Like how is that even possible? How can you be so close, yet so far away, so consistently?

Like... I've heard of 'playing down to your opponent's level'. Is there such a thing as 'playing at exactly your opponent's level, minus approximately four points'?

This would feel a lot different to me if we were losing games by like 17 points or something. But our average margin of defeat this season has been just 5.5 points. Riley's last team lost by an average of 21 points! This team obviously has its problems, but come on: this team is nowhere near as bad as that 2017 team was.

Honestly, when I look at this team
