Mainly a question for first time buyers/young people. I saw Perenna launched the lifetime fix option and wondered how many people would be tempted by fixing indefinitely in the 5.5-6% range.

The deals allow you to leave after 5 years with no exit fees, a bit like european mortgages.

Has it delayed your plans to buy?

What have you had to give up to keep up with rents?

It feels like a lot more needs to be done to help you. Every government policy change leads to increased costs which are last on by landlords.

I probably couldn’t afford to rent my own home if I were starting out fresh now. Surely something has to change?
