META's stock is down more than -9% after reporting a $16B one time tax hit. But their revenue is up 26% YoY and is the best quarter in company history. The revenue increase has WAAAYY more correlation to the health and future performance of the company than a one time tax hit. The market's reaction makes no sense. One time $16B tax hit, causes more than $150B in market cap loss even though the company beat on every metric. Great time to pick up more shares while the market over reacts to the tax bill or the AI calculators don't understand the context of a 1 time earnings reduction vs a long term decrease in earnings.

Bought WFC during 2020 after Buffett sold, government put restrictions and fines on them and this place called it one of the worst companies to own, a dead company, no one would ever trust WFC to do business again, etc. In the prior months it had lost more than 50% of its value. First purchase was in May for $24.84/sh then it dropped another 10% in a week and I made an even bigger purchase at $22.32/sh. 5 months later it was even lower. Dropping below $21/sh at a couple points. According to this sub I was an idiot. Here we are 5 years later and my WFC shares are up over 200%. Those original purchases in May of 2020 are up 212% and 247% with additional purchases in more recent years bringing

Yeah these guys will be good NBA players?? It's just dudes that look like NBA players in pictures spazzing on a court that happens to have an NBA logo on it. Patrick Baldwin shoots with confidence, looks good one play then airballs the next or just throws it away. Who cares though, we'll never even get the good with the bad because after 4 years in the league he still can't guard undrafted rookies so he'll never see the court. Jordan Miller can still only make left handed lay ups against undersized 20 year olds that don't know how to read a scouting report. Cool. So he'll be the 6th man of the year next year if we get to play the Brooklyn Nets all 82 games. A 6 foot 28 year old runs a medioc

Congratulations to Bron Breakker, Jacob Fatu, Penta, Tiffany Stratton, Lyra Valkyria and ofcourse El Grande Americano, they are all making their Wrestlemania debuts this year.

This is also the first Wrestlemania:

CM Punk is main eventing.

Jey Uso is not wrestling with his brother.

2 women will get to wrestle in a one on one match over a feud and not a Championship. (Jade vs Naomi)

Cody Rhodes is the first Babyface to main event Wrestlemania for the WWE Championship 3 straight years since Hulk Hogan did it at Wrestlemania V, VI, and VII. Roman Reigns and the Rock have done it but not as a Babyface all 3 years. John Cena would have done it but The Undertaker vs Edge for the WHC main evented the 3rd year instead of John Cena's WWE Championship match. In fact Cena had a stretch where he wrestled for the WWE Championship 6 out of 8 Wrestlemania's and couldn't do it. Stone Cold and Bret Hart did it 3 times but over 4 years. Cody is on one of the all time great babyface runs. I can't wait for Wrestlemania

He turns 25 in January and hasn't even played 100 minutes in the NBA and people swear he will become a super star and the future of the team. How delusional do you people have to be? Even late bloomers like Austin Reaves and Fred Van Fleet were getting NBA game time at 22 and 23 years old. Role players like Amir Coffey and Terence Mann were getting minutes at 22 and 23 years old. 5 Allstars are younger than Jordan Miller. I like Miller and hope he continues to develop and become a good piece on the team but some of you don't live in reality. Scoring 20 points against 19 year olds and G league players in the Summer doesn't make you an NBA star. Even Kevin Porter Jr is younger than Jordan Mill

I was reading an article, which I normally don't do, about the stock Applovin, which I do own shares of. In the article it kept talking about the stock price moving down into the sell zone or up into the buy zone. I have been investing for 15 years, my education is in business not modern investing, and I've been pretty successful for atleast the last 10 years beating the market pretty good by ignoring everyone else. I am completely baffled by this thought process of instituting a buy high and sell low form of investing. Do people actually follow this? I already thought technical analysis is completely misguided but this sell zone and buy zone being invested is absolutely retarded. How are th

Here are all the wrestlers to main event Wrestlemania for the first time under 30.

King Kong Bundy was 28 at Wrestlemania II.

Yokozuna was 26 at Wrestlemania IX. (Also main evented Wrestlemania X at 27 years old)

The Rock was 26 at Wrestlemania XV. (He main evented 3 Wrestlemania's by the time he was 28, and should have main evented 4 with Hulk Hogan by age 29, which is insane)

Big Show was 29 at Wrestlemania 2000.

Brock Lesnar was 25 at Wrestlemania XIX.

John Cena was 27 at Wrestlemania 22. (Also main evented Wrestlemania 23 at 28 years old)

Randy Orton was 29 at Wrestlemania 25. (would have main evented at 26 and 28 years old if Wrestlemania was 2 nights like today)

Roman Rei

The World Tag Team Champions(Miz and R Truth) are cumulatively 35 years older than the WWE Tag Team Champions (Austin Theory and Grayson Waller). R-Truth signed with WWE when Austin Theory was just 1 years old.

Bray Wyatt (b. May 1987) is still the most recently born wrestler to win a men's WWE main roster world championship. However, 8 NXT Champions were born more recently than Bray including his little brother Bo Dallas.

Of the 19 current champions only the The North American and the United States Champions won their Titles before this years Wrestlemania. (Just 2 months ago)

Roman Reigns Universal Championship title reign(1,316 days) was longer than all current 15 championship title r

The art of the business of professional wrestling is transferring heat to the guys you can use to sustain interest and sell tickets/draw eyeballs. Sometimes you use celebrities like how Mr T was able to transfer heat from himself to Hulk Hogan, Mr Wonderful and Roddy Piper. Mike Tyson was able to transfer heat to Stone Cold and Shawn Michaels. bad Bunny transferred heat to Damien Priest. Sometimes you use older wrestlers to transfer their heat to younger wrestlers so it can continue to be monetized. Rock vs John Cena at wrestlemania. Brock ending the Undertakers streak. Hogan slamming Andre the Giant. Roman stacking Edge and Daniel Bryan. Most of the time it's peers transferring heat back an
