So dedicated players are in a server with each other, Dad gamers are grouped together, people who just get time on weekends get their server etc?

I think one of the main causes of friction within MMO’s is that you get the hardcore players alongside the casual ones. There was a post last week how a lot of big MMO’s have spent a great deal of time reducing friction. This would make it so the players you’re competing/coordinating with are always on roughly equal footing.

I guess the implementation would be something like; when you sign up you’re asked to input the rough amount of playtime you expect to play. The server will sort you into that bracket. Over the next couple of weeks it calibrat

I had a good run going, but it’s fairly spell focused, so need to avoid the t1 Slow Spells curse.

At floor 517 I get offered it. Then floor 521, then 525, and then every single floor up until 677, where I am now, where the two options are Slow Spells and Ghostly monsters every 8 fights. That also sounds run-ending as it would turn every other boss into Inevitable, so I click the “random” curse option.

Which just gives me Slow Spells anyway.

I don’t know whether this is something to do with my version, or if it’s a bug but it’s horrible. Before anyone says I’m out of all other t1 curses, I only have 5 cursed items. I haven’t taken Mortal, Ourboros or Bonezone. I’ve got 20% random modif

I'm not too interested in hitting leaderboard, I'd rather try and beat all the challenges the game has, I've done all tier 2 ones and a few tier 3's, but Fragile 3 seems ridiculously hard. I'm certain I can get to the final boss without taking damage, but completing him when there's the extra spawns, constant attacks, shrines and homing missiles seems out of the question.

To start, who would be the best character to even attempt it? I did Fragile 1 and 2 on Calcium.

I've been putting together an idea for a build using Disintegrate and Ignivars Head, combined with Spellblade's passive node that gives base crit chance for stacking Int, you can get up to a pretty absurd amount of crit chance, around 600% with the right items, but I'm struggling to find ways to add base damage. It's got to be a one-hander to make use of the Head catalyst, but the most I can seem to find is 60-70 base spell damage on wands/sceptres, and neither of them can roll spell damage affixes.

I could use one-handed swords for up to 50 added spell damage, maybe a Transcribers graver to get 74 total, with the elemental pen wouldn't be bad.

Am I missing something? Melee damage builds c

So I’ve been trying to do a T-pose build with Ignivars head and Fire aura, I get to 15 stacks as I fly around the place, but the damage is only hitting around 2-3k.

Fire aura says it scales 140% with added damage, has 14 base, and I have 75 spell damage, so that’s 119 flat damage.

Then 15 stacks is already ~1800 damage, but I’ve got 920% total increased damage, 15% more from flame ward, and 52% pen. Surely this should be doing 30k per tick, not around 3k.
