I'm looking for a used 2-seater convertible where the passenger airbag can be shut off with a key or something similar. I prefer not want to remove airbags or rely on external sensors. Currently, I have a 2000 SLK but it requires car seat sensors that basically do not exist anymore and I worry if they would even work still.

Looking because I'd like to occasionally have my 5-yr old ride in his car seat in the passenger seat safely.

Again, must be 2 seats so that it's legal to have a kid up front.

Ideal budget is $10-20k.
