Got a free bonus from one of my online sites I play poker on, decided to degen on some blackjack with it.

Turned this $500 bonus into about $14,000. It was great, I withdrew it and sent it to my fiance and told her we will use it for the wedding. She was ecstatic.

Got drunk last night, logged in, loaded in $1000. Lost it. Loaded another $1000. Lost it. Loaded another $3000, lost it. Loaded in $7,500, lost it.

$30,000 later of bitcoin and wire transfers later, I've lost all 30k in less than 24 hours.

Not sure what to tell the fiance. I can afford to lose it (I won't be missing our mortgage payments or anything like that), but

Hi,

I have played around 5000 hands on 0.25NL 6-Max Zoom and have been getting eaten alive. I'm looking to go and take a break and do some studying, but I'm not sure what to focus on.

What are my major downfalls as a player? (Besides being an ATM for the other players...)

(And if you need more information about how I play, let me know I will add)

I am attaching graphs and stats from PT4 - hopefully, they help. Let me know if you need more information as well.

Please go easy, I'm not good, I know! Thanks for any help

Hi everyone of r/cakes...

I'm just getting into cake decorating, and I'm trying to decide on a cake turntable. My budget is about 10-15$, and I was looking at this one in particular:

https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_3_25?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=cake+turntable...+by+promnico&sprefix=cake+turntable...+by+prom%2Caps%2C159

Have any of you here used this one? It's the cheapest one on Amazon, but there aren't very many reviews....

I've been reading it's much easier to decorate a cake with a turntable - is that true or no? Should I just avoid getting it?

Appreciate any advice!!!

Hi. I recently sold a website that was running as an income generating asset under my LLC. The site was opened in March making it only 9 months old. However, I started coding the site a few months before the launch.

I read that in order to be taxed as a long term capital gain, I would need to have held the asset for 1 year. But, my LLC that this was shelled under is over 6 years old. However, I didn't sell my entire LLC. It seems like a big mess and obviously I would rather pay capital gains on this instead of putting it as income which would bump me up two entire tax brackets.

Thanks for any help you can provide and feel free to ask any questions

What happens if I (for instance) sell an item that is knowingly deceptive?

Lets take an example:

I sell a diet pill to customers that will make them not hungry for 4 hours (Say I know this because I tested it on 1000 individuals and took the average). However, on my packaging, I state that it will make them not hungry for 12 hours, over exaggerating the effectiveness of the product.

Who would come after me for doing something like this? What law would I be breaking?

Thanks!

EDIT: So we do not get tied up in FDA/Drug approval, lets consider this example:

I have a cell phone I have created from my company. I know this phone has a battery life of 3 hours, yet I sell it and advertise it

Hello. I want to give my situation to you guys and let me know if you think gastric bypass is a viable option for me. I'm just looking for opinions people have, mostly, as well as some advice.

Anyways. I'm 21. Almost 22. M. 6'0". 367lbs. Been overweight since middle school. Really wasn't that big until my senior year of highschool, where my family moved states and I lost touch with all of my friends, my girlfriend, and school. I went into a pretty depressive state and probably went from 220-300 pounds while I homeschooled my senior year.

I've been hovering around 300-340lbs for about 2 year, but recently my weight has been going up because of job stress and school stress (doing
