So, this Monday, I'm getting two budgies and will be a first time bird owner. I am so excited it's unreal, done a bunch of reading, know what enclosure to get, etc. However, I have pet beetles, specifically Blue death feigning beetles. Would my budgies try to eat those?

If so, that's fine, I'll just move them to a safe location, but just wanted to know before a beetle genocide happens by accident lol.

Hi there.

I've had my beetles about a month now and they're doing great! I've been feeding my BDFBs (blue death feigning beetles) A mixture of food: Beetle jelly, Fruits, veggies, dried insects, etc.

I'm presuming that they're ok by the fact they haven't killed my beetles, but are Shop bought fruits safe for insects? I've recently read about store bought fruits possibly containing insecticides. Of course I knew about it, but it's not something I've thought about. (Dumb I know)

Just to confirm my thinking, should I buy organic fruits in future, or does it generally not matter?
