Dumb request but I get water thru Reviere water company and I had to get water from Aqua due to an emergency. Now reviere is not taking the empty Aqua bottle back. Is there anyone who has an empty Reviere container and would be willing to exchange it with an Aqua container?
I live near Discovery gardens metro.
Hi everyone,
I am using the SIB Cashback Mastercard with Apple Pay. When I make a purchase using Apple Pay: • I get the SMS from SIB instantly • The transaction shows up correctly in the SIB app as unbilled • Available credit reduces correctly
But the transaction does not show up in Apple Pay wallet history at all.
This does not happen with my ADCB or other cards where Apple Pay shows every tap almost instantly.
Question for other SIB users: • Is this normal with SIB Apple Pay? • Do transactions sync later to Apple Pay or do they usually never appear? • Cashback still works fine right? do the payments still get posted as apple pay?
Just want to confirm if this is expected behavio
Hi everyone,
I am using the SIB Cashback credit card in the UAE and wanted to clarify something.
I know that payments made through Tabby qualify for the 10% cashback because of how the transaction is coded. My Tabby account is also currently under review, so I am considering using Tamara instead.
My question is: If I use Tamara at checkout and add my SIB Cashback card inside Tamara, does the transaction post as a normal retail purchase and still earn the 10% cashback, or is it treated the same way as Tabby or as a cash type transaction?
Basically, from SIB’s cashback perspective, does Tamara behave differently from Tabby?
Would really appreciate if anyone has recent experience and can c
Hey everyone,
I recently got the SIB Cashback Covered Card and wanted to understand the best way to actually maximize the cashback on it.
My main spends are: • Food ordering like Talabat, Deliveroo, Careem • Utilities like DEWA, ISTA, internet, gas • Some online shopping and subscriptions • Occasional international spends
I had a few questions and wanted to hear real experiences from people using this card: 1. If I pay utilities like DEWA or ISTA on their website but use Apple Pay with my SIB card, does it still count as online or digital wallet spend and give the 10 percent cashback? Or does it fall under utilities at 0.5 percent regardless of Apple Pay?

I recently started investing and my portfolio is still small. I invest monthly in voo qqqm and nvda. I currently have an extra $550 to deploy.
Current holdings: VOO 40 percent QQQM 40 percent NVDA 20 percent
With this $550, should I: Add more to VOO or QQQM or NVDA Add Mag 7 stocks Add some gold via GLDM Or start a small speculative position like ASTS
Looking for simple, sensible advice. Thanks.
Hi everyone,
I am looking for suggestions on a good cashback credit card in the UAE. My salary is AED 18,000 but I recently moved here and unfortunately do not have a 1 year LOR yet. I applied for the ADIB Cashback Card but got rejected because my employer is not listed with them and they require either an existing card or loan history of 1 year. I know ADIB Cashback and SIB Cashback are considered among the best, but I am trying to find a realistic alternative that I can actually get approved for. My spending pattern is pretty simple: • Utilities (DEWA, internet, gas, ista) • Everyday expenses • Occasional food delivery and eating out I do not spend anywhere close to 5k per month consist
Hey everyone! I recently moved to Dubai and am currently living in the Al Furjan West area. I don’t have a car yet, and my new workplace is near Union Metro Station.
I checked the metro route and it looks like it takes around 1 hour 40 minutes one way, which is quite a stretch.
Are there any alternative transport options like direct buses, RTA shuttles, or even shared carpool services that could save time? I’d really appreciate any tips from locals or others in a similar situation!
