When to get rid of photos and gifts from an Ex of 7 years?

She was my high school sweetheart since I was 17 we left each other on good terms which doesn’t help the situation. I have years worth of clothes, thousands of photos and hundreds of love letters from her. Not to mention paintings she made for me and all that other stuff. But I just want to hear from the community on when you decided to delete the photos and get rid of the items that reminded you of your Ex’s.
